Sorry to be a party-pooper but I'll make a wild guess. The statement will be along the lines of "Russia wants a resolution BUT Russia's demands are not being met in full and Ukraine is being totally unrealistic." As in war, so in negotiation, Putin will still expect everything and cede nothing.
If you have not seen the footage of what Ukrainian Soldier's just did to the Russian Soldier's. Then you have little understanding of the War. What happened absolutely demolished all rules of the Geneva Convention... Warning.... It is torture videos.... Some soldiers whom I hear wanted to just be free.. and leave the war... Hoping NATO would give quarters...

Huh? Russian soldiers are the invaders and we are supposed to feel sorry for them? If somebody breaks into my house, I don't feel like I have to show the person some sort of respect or follow some rules.

I'm not condoning any alleged criminality and I am not dissing this potential video seeking to bring truth (if it is). It's important to uphold the 'rules' and to retain the moral high ground as it has soft-power benefits in the long-term. However, unless one has actually been in a genuine theatre of war and experienced the plain awful circumstances that turn out, it is all too easy to be a judge in an armchair. Unfortunately, when you have mercenaries, volunteers and make-shift defenders involved, they will then reflect the spectrum of life: the 99% good and the 1% bad, rather than trained professionals. Local situations going badly is not in the same sphere as an aggressor invading with no cause, the command to flatten whole communities, abduct civilians, terrorise captives and so on. 2 wrongs don't make a right but perspective is needed, though any form of torture or war criminality is regretful at the very least.

Sounds like the Greek financial problem saga all over again - yes, no, maybe then rinse in infinite loop.

However saying this, I sincerely wish for peace for all innocent Ukrainian citizens.

Though I have seems to make up my mind about Zelensky. After observing all the events, news etc, to me he may not and ain't that bravo hero our western media had portrayed him to be. I was rather bemused when Zel yesterday publicly claimed boris johnson is the best western leader the world has. But late last night, I realised the plot of boris johnson - he must have known our UK met police was about to issue the partygate fines and gotten Zel to speak some curry for boris on world stage.

The previous para might be conspiracy theory but our boris is a scheming cxnt that always pre-empt the ignorant public with smoke bombs. This now makes sense to me.....what a shxt democratic country I lived in.
