I think this is incredibly tragic, i.e. to quote "IF UKRAINE NEUTRALISATION AND DISARMAMENT CANNOT BE REACHED DIPLOMATICALLY, HE WOULD CARRY ON MILITARY OPERATIONS"
The chances of Ukraine agreeing to disarmament are in my opinon remote to say the least

Last sentence in that article explains why: Last year, the US ambassador to the United Nations said such a resolution contradicted the First Amendment to the US Constitution, which guarantees "freedom of expression" for individuals.

Inferring from this vote that the US and Ukraine support Nazism is, i'm sorry to be blunt, but absurd.

The one thing I learned from watching Russia over the last 20 years is when a country gives up freedom for security, they end up with neither freedom or security. Russian people put all their cards in Putin and now look what happened to them.

Its from december and proposed by Russia. They obviously did it for a reason...since they already knew they will start a war on these false pretences. And looks like both the US and Ukraine had intel about it, too. Nothing more to it, really.

Doesn't matter what you or the west thinks. He is ensuring that his state media give his version of events to russian people. The internet is not widely read in Russia and can be restricted by state interference aka china.
He is gambling the 'truth' does not reach your average russian.
But he may also inhabit his own universe where he is right and everyone else, including his fellow russians, are wrong and need him to show the way to keep western encroachment etc. at bay.
