They are meaning the Far-West. Most of Europe love Russia, Russia is actually Europe. As you know, Russia is worried about its security because of the possible deployment of NATO bases in Ukraine. I can't imagine how an invasion can solve this issue.. except terrifying, fantastic scenarios.

I think no one wants blood and everyone understands the consequences of the invasion; it will hurt all economies.
If Russia wanted more land, it would have already recognized the LPR/DPR, who wanted to join (well, Crimea referendum... difficult topic) - yes, they gave out Russian passports to the population, but people of the western regions have Hungarian passports.┐( ∵ )┌

Russia insists on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, Ukraine drags out the issue and tries to change some points. Why was it necessary to sign them in such a case? Zelensky recruited unprofessional idiots to the diplomat team, if you only heard what they say... Epic facepalm

UA economy is very weak, heavily in debt due to loans from the IMF. The current panic is forcing investors and companies to withdraw their capital. Ukraine is just a tool to put economic pressure on Russia as well, sadly

So far among my friends I have not met a person who believes in all this. But of course someone does. How many people, so many opinions

I know how these statistics from "The Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan American think tank based in Washington, D.C. It provides information on social issues, public opinion, and demographic trends shaping the United States and the world" are prepared.

The Russian regimen is loved by most of the population and it is much more democratic than the bi-partisan pseudo-democracy financed by corporations that exists in your country (the US, not Spain as you declare).

There's one more thing that keeps me wondering though, what if Ukraine attacks first? After your responses and doing a bit of research, i realised that Russia wouldn't really want to invade Ukraine. But Ukraine can trust West and try to counter attack in order to gain it's territory back right? Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk etc.?

What are the possibilities of Ukraine making a counter attack and starting the war?

Nope, Russia is a democracy with lots of political parties. This info can you obtain everywhere.
Putin's party is very moderate. The second and third party are the communist party and the liberal party. These are much more anti-US.

I know there are large Russian communities in the US, but most of them started ages ago.
Americans may not want to move to Russia because the move is difficult. There is the language barrier which is very important to get a job and I am not sure Russia wants many immigrants as well.

Man you need to read more about the purpose of NATO and particularly what happens if a NATO member attacks another country. NATO is a defending organization. GUYS WISE UP! Time to think outside the box. We just had the longest and largest bump in the stock market etc. The Vanguards, Fidelities, Vanderbilts, Rockafellas and all their stooges in US politics have made millions and Billions from offloading at the top. The plan was always to create a reason for a sustained drop after they sold and liquidated. This is what its all about. Now they have mountains of liquidity waiting to be re invested. Getting the Blood in the streets and sending stockmarkets on a dizzy ride down so the cycle can restart is what this is about. even the longer-term charts are clearly depicting a great possibility for some sort of military conflict between Russia and the West... 85-90% drop in the US stock market is inevitable and has to get a serious fundamental reason to achieve just that... some war scenario perfectly fits into this overall grim picture... on my opinion the military conflict is inevitable though not necessarily to start over Ukraine issues despite the West is consistently pushing this poor country into some suicidal provocations against Russia... though even if the war really starts as and where it's expected now, the outcome is quite likely to be a total surprise for the western war instigators... my bet is on Russia...
