Kanye West — a close friend of the late DMX — helped raise $1 million for the late rapper’s family through the sale of tribute T-shirts, sources said. West, through his Yeezy brand, commissioned Balenciaga to design the T-shirt that, at $200 a piece, sold out within 24 hours over the weekend, according to sources. The proceeds will be given to the family of DMX, who was remembered Sunday at a private funeral service at Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center.
