Anyways for those who support Trump and expect a second term it will be when and if he tries again in 2024. So suck it up, like a man put on your big boy pants or big girl sweats, make a plan and battle at the voting booth in 2024 not at the capitol.

As for the insurrection act, Trump CANNOT invoke the military to overthrow Biden and stay in power come Jan 20th, that will never happen. Heads of the military will not allow that even if they were appointed by Trump.

As for impeachment, as a democrat...I'm actually agreeing with you guys on this one. Impeachment at this point has no purpose. They did not have a strong case with the first one and do not have a strong case with this one either. See democrats and republicans can agree on something I say just let him finish his term.

Anyways while I do understand Pelosi point of view, we got bigger fish to fry come Jan 20th. One thing people need to consider and maybe this is her take is what if our real enemies like saw us playing the fool with politics and Jihadism or al-Qaeda terrorists see how easy it is to compromise the United States and infiltrated some of these local protests and blow us to thy kingdom come??? Then we will be a bunch or dead democrats and republicans. Come on guys we got more serious enemies out there, we are all patriots.

You hate how this election went and think it was fraud? fine then join with your senators and leaders and lets work to make sure the next election is more perfect and rule out all the kinks and fix the process and later be a poll worker yourself so you can stop it and fix the broken system. As a democrat I actually believe in voter ID laws. To me it just makes sense that the person voting is a US Citizen and are who they say they are and a simple voter ID card issued when people get their driver permit at 18 is a simple fix. And it will ensure no more dead people vote...right?

I mean come on there were soildiers voting via the internet from overseas. If we can assure their secure votes I believe we can fix our local systems in both Democrat and Republican states.

We need to stop all this folly before our international enemies move in and kills us all in something worse than 9/11 that will lead to our own demise!!!

Yep spot on. I look at the headline and for some bizarre reason the image of the computer game when you wander around shooting each other. The scene where the victor is doing squats over the loser.

Talk of peace is easy but using someone as Speaker of the House who is Rabid with anger is not going to be conducive to reconciliation.

Getting a government payout I imagine is not one of his concerns. Money buys security.
I think he has enough to keep him occupied after Jan 20th.. Small matters of substantial corporate and personal legal jeopardy - serious financial and tax problems plus defamation and sexual assault suits. I doubt given the depth of the impact of the CV crisis is having on the Hospitality and Commercial real-estate business, that banks will be in any big rush to rollover loans or provide new ones to anyone mired in allegations of incitement to Insurrection. Brand Trump is heading into a deeply skeptical and unsympathetic world.

Trump did not incite the riots any more than numerous democrats saying there should be insurrections, etc., (Nancy Pelosi HERSELF said as much in 2018).

This is a prime example of a waste of taxpayer $ over what - 9 days?

Our marketing department did a study and found that the further right you lean the higher the likelihood that you believe in the propaganda especially if the facts go against their opinions. It was a really interesting read and although it sounds politically biased it really isn't because the purpose of the study was to optimize the sale of goods and services by observing behavior of individuals.

Interesting to hear from someone in big commercial business where consumer psychology is constantly under research and scrutiny. I spend 6 years in that very area... big biz.. qualitative and quantitative consumer research.. personally commissioned and managed over a million £ in that area.. I you dont have some expertise in the area. you end up talking thru your ass like many otherwise sensible folk and good traders do here.

By the way, this "facts" thing versus propaganda. Those on the right (whatever that is) know the facts and also know the non-facts/untruths (the propaganda), and choose the non-facts.

It depends on who is saying what the facts are, doesn't it? Has nobody read the novel 1984?

I understand your point but you have to look at the endgame here, this study wasn't done to pick on one side or the other it was done as pure market research. Eugenics is a form of manipulation, which to be fair all marketing is but that wasn't my point. What I was pointing out is that the harder the subjects leaned to the right, ultra conservative ultra religious the more they tended to believe in misinformation.
