I just contracted a new virus.

Lately, every time when I see boris, michael or any of their cabinet muttering confusing garbage on TV, I spontaneously uttered blxxdy fxxking cxxts. Has anyone got this disease too?

Seriously wondering if there is any medication for this illness, I really need help in this!

no matter who is in power they would of f*cked it up.
Both parties might bicker, boo and hiss in the House, but they drink together afterwards in the bars.
Same club, same elite. Nothing will ever change..
BUT they make us money,
SEE LINE,TRADE LINE..PRICE HAS TO GO SOMEWHERE,,, PRICE WILL GO SOMEWHERE.

I agree on the point of both parties. What we are lacking is a leadership similar to Jacinda Adern, who is in front of the covid curve rather than behind the curve. I can't comment on her other qualities as I'm not their citizen. I may not like Nicola Sturgeon constant bashing of "Scotland independence" but she had ride the tide to be seen the better of the bunch of leaders we have in UK.

I would not say Starmer would be better but heyho he hits the notes when needed so far. But it is always easy to criticise than to be a doer.

Ain't complaining when the chart moves!!!! That's most important.

Now....in the meantime I need to find some medication for this illness I have developed

You're right about the critic/hindsight versus having to do. Being contrarian for a moment, don't forget the circumstances for NS, and others. The Scottish NHS is under even more pressure than the remainder and with less back up. Except, of course, they can expect the UK/Cursed English to be the paymasters and if they don't get what they want they can have a hissy-fit and stamp their feet, pointing out these are the reasons for Scottish independence. It's a similar scenario for Wales and N.I. We ARE all in this together of course and I am not making a sectarian comment, just that the balance of any decision is NOT the same. If I hadn't got to find a way of paying for it, I'd be ahead of the curve, using mandatory laws and enforcing them too!
Re NZ, their circumstances were/are different again. NZ is a not a thoroughfare but a terminal. It's a large island state with relatively few large cities and very few high-density communities and they were in their late summer season when it all broke out. Jacinda was certainly decisive, for sure, and it played to her strong social conscience outlook. It took away the pressure building on how the economy had been doing under her stewardship. The point I am making is that every leader has a different set of circumstances to deal with. Pick and choose and you'll find a leader on every part of the spectrum.

Actually our Minister of Health Ashley Bloomfield was the Man of the year and held the reins re C-19
Jacinda's secret was that she used the word "Team" to unite NZ - invoking the 'Team New Zealand" principle that unified the country.

just a choice of the right words for the moment , tell Boris J !

You nailed a good point - decisiveness. This attribute is clearly lacking in boris who is more prone and far keen to jump on bandwagon wherever the crowd goes, pretending to lead.

Watching boris on TV every time doing a PR photo makes me sick! Just count the number of pointless PR visits he made the past few months to companies, hospitals....the wasted journey time he made could have him DECIDE what to do rather then some cheap PR stunts, "Hey look, I am with you". Didn't see him doing any pr stunts when the lorries were stuck in Kent in Dec, did anyone see that??

Happy New Year

Unfortunately, boris only has himself as the team. The rest of his team are either useless, pointless and a waste of space with the current situation. It's during time of crisis that one can see if there is any leadership qualities in a "leader" - not in UK atm sad to say.

ok, sorry to hear that,
but unifying a country is like leading a horse
is it getting better ? or is it getting worse ?, what words ( actions) can i display to this horse that shows its getting better , and hopefully make that a fun game !
people aren't that different, just the right words , just the right actions, and so they can see it is getting better.
