Now I expect him to tweet his daily dose of hydroxycloroquin he is taking, because he promoted the use without evidence very aggressivly. He put patients life at risk doing so. Surprise, surprise, on October 2nd a WH press release states he is not taking hydroxycloroquin. He is taking a polyclonal antibody cocktail via infusion, zinc, vitamine D, famotidine, melatonine and Aspirine.

Facts are:
He promoted the use of hydroxycloroquin over several months in 2020.
In May 2020 he said that he uses it as a preventive measure himself, which is the strongest promotion possible.
He defended the use till July 28th by retweeting a conspiracy video promoting hydroxycloroquin that later was taken down by twitter.
He never came forward in August and September to state that hydroxycloroquin shouldn't be taken to treat covid-19, because it doesn't work and has serious side effects.
A lot of people believed him and have put their lives at risk trusting a treatment with no benefit at all.

There have been many clinical studies looking into the effects of hydroxycloroquin in regards to treatment of covid-19. Most of them have been stopped early on in May and June 2020 because they couldn't show any benefit and prolonging these studies would put patients at risk.

This is the current state of the art based on scientific evidence gathered in many trials all over the world.

He lied once again and never apologized to do so. So there are still Trump followers out there thinking it is a good idea to take hydroxycloroquin to treat covid-19. The potential harm of even more people is still on the table and he has a responsability to stop it asap.

Maybe you can do a deep research into the above scientific study claim and tell us whether they are lying because I really don't know.

BTW, hydroxycloroquin patent has long expired and it can be produced on the cheap by anyone. If hydroxycloroquin is allowed on the scene, the trillion dollar deal on new vaccine and treatment drug will be pull off the table by all the governments. See the link? 2.4 billion people in the study? Really..... about 30% of the current world population? This claim is so stupid it hurts... but yes, some people wont be able to judge that and fall for the lie.

July 4 (UPI) -- The World Health Organization announced Saturday that it discontinued its trial on hydroxychloroquine's effect on COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

WHO said in a statement that it accepted a recommendation from the Solidarity Trial's International Steering Committee that it stop the testing of the drug. The decision to cease the trial came after interim trial results showed that the anti-malaria drug had little or no reduction in mortality of patients hospitalized for the novel coronavirus.

If you know something about clinical studies and can judge their quality you would be shocked how much bogus studies are out there that claim a benefit with extrem failures in how the studies are set up, evaluated and the conclusions drawn. You can't do that without intent to manipulate public opinion.

So why would they do that? It all started with a former hedge fund manager starting to claim that hydroxy cloroquin is beneficial in covid-19 treatment. There is clearly a profit motive behind creating this hype. The produciton of hydroxycloroquin is limited to few companies. If you position yourself before the hype you can create significant profits, even if the drug is relatively cheap. You could hord stock and then sell it into the hype at a premium. Before compeditors could built up production, your trade is done and your profits are in.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk both where early on to promote and create the hype with tweets. I called them out immediately with showing the link to one of the very first guys who started the whole thing on Twitter. You see a classical market manipulation attempt, other followed with masks and other drugs or even whole companies who claimed to have solutions mostly just built on hot air.

It is true that there is a horde of other articles attacking this study but the sample size of 2.4 billions (Which is based on the population size of the various countries) is not something that is focused on. I don't know what is the statistical analysis behind this study but the 2.4 billions sample size still stands.

It is not true that the production of hydroxycloroquin is limited to few companies because like I have said, the patent for this drug has already expired and its recipe it open to public to produce on the cheap. India is the largest producer of hydroxycloroquin and account of 70% of world supplies. And we know how dirt cheap India's drug (besides hydroxycloroquin) price is (for those drug that don't have anymore patent protection).

I had like to buy your side of the story but your claims just are not correct on several counts.

Hareii, even if you bring a generica drug to the market you have to go through an approval process in every country, build up production, etc etc. not an easy thing to do.

If you didn't have hydroxycloroquin as a product on the market when it got hyped, you can't compete to existing products within a view months. It is not worth to jump on a short time hype without any scientific based evidence that it actually works, which it doesn't. This was a short time manipulation to make money...and really nothing more than that.

I bet there will be an oversupply of this drug in 2021 and the a lot of it will be trashed when self live runs out.
