I won't put you on ignore because as humans we should be able to converse and should be happy to have open dialogue with differing opinions. History and a collection of experiences has taught me to question China data. If you could offer more insight to why you think it's accurate or why we should believe it I'm happy to try to understand. Actually those who really believe that DO trade FOREX; hence the 75% losing retail traders.

Frankly I don't blame China for banning US flights; I don't have a problem with that. In fact I don't have a problem with the US banning flights from China either.

What TSA needs is temperature scanners in all airports around the world. Frankly the way things are here in the USA I don't understand why anyone would want to come visit anyway...Burning and rioting in the streets is horrible. Meanwhile in my little neck of paradise it's 85 degrees, sunny and no Cov19, no riots and the life is good!

Red, I have been trading for some time and the A/U is just confusing the heck out of me. You've already listed reasons WHY is should be falling but it is RISING at the speed of a flash crash! Just this morning I thought it was ready to re-trace and I shorted it at .69 but gave it a tight stop. When that hit I just capitulated and went long and rode it up to .6940 and out because I KNOW that it it oversold and needs to re-treat.

My system told me not to enter and I violated my rules on a 'gut feel' and it cost me.

Bottom line: Risk on - Aud, Nzd and Eur go up: Risk off - Usd and Jpy go up

Right now the market has decided that it is risk on time. I don't agree but I trade the PA and for now I'm sidelined

Look at how they did it. Pure brute force. Did anyone see how they invaded households and yank suspect sick people out and took them away?
Anyone saw drones flying around checking peoples temperature with troops standing by to pick up those with high temperature?
Anyone saw drones spraying people outdoors with disinfectant?
Anyone saw they increased their health care capacity in 10 days?
Anyone heard of any lack of PPE in China?
Anyone heard that millions and millions and entire cities were in near shoot to death lockdown for weeks?
Do you see Xi wear a mask from day 1 and still does to set an example vs. that other idiot with macho mentality who doesn't wear one?

There is probably a whole lot more that they did that we don't even know about because those measures are not replicatable in US and most western countries.

Instead of resorting to accusing China with tampering with data, why not try to see the differences between the approach of China to preventing the virus spread vs. the approach of US or EU to the same thing?

This is utter bullshit. And you believe the data coming out of China? Search google for satellite images from China during the coved crisis and see dead cities with next to zero industrial activity. Why is that if they managed to contain the virus???

1. The data coming from China is a lie.
2. China did develop a cure for the virus before they deployed it and this way it has protection against it, while the rest of the world struggles.

Chinese passengers are unlikely to be visiting the US anytime soon anyway. This is just a political ploy to make American leaders appear strong to their own people. Economically it will have little short-term impact whether the Chinese were allowed to fly to the US or not.

Now for those unfamiliar with the numbers we have to wait until August/September for 'real actionable numbers'

Speaking of numbers - numbers are what they are it's the people who interpret them that we have to beware of. When looking at Cov19 deaths it is important to look at AGE and co-factors/existing conditions for those who unfortunately have passed away.

When taking the State of Pennsylvania there were more deaths in patients age 70+ then for everyone 69 and under. That happened due to placing sick Cov19 patients from the hospital into nursing homes - it distorted the numbers. Same for NYC.

Yes and there is I am sure a work around. Chinese that really really want to come to USA for whatever reason can always fly to a 3rd country and then into US.

They tried to use leaders of G7 and other countries to advertise how safe US is by making them attend the G7 meeting without any safety conditions to be met first and now they want to fly their people around like there is nothing wrong.
No one is biting. This is actually an insult to G7 (actually G6 not including US) and science and everything that is done right to curb the virus. But no surprise that US is going down hill because of incompetent decision making.
