- I have traded the forex for the past 11 years and a full time trader for the last 8 years. I trade as a business under an LLC.
For long term trades I use Interactive Brokers as my ECN. For short term trades and scalping, I use FXDD since they allow scalping with no rules. I average 6-30 trades a day and have well over 10,-12,000 trades.
My advice to everyone is to take a few forex courses and find a successful forex mentor and become his shadow. I believe you need to observe the market through the eyes of a live trading mentor and take their glasses and observe what they sees. You must learn from that and do your own trades. If you can't find a mentor, purchase a book related on the forex. When your in front of the computer and not getting in and out of trades, you should have a book opened. Read it over and over until you understand it. When your finished with it, grab another. Please, no requests for mentoring, I no longer have the time due to other ongoing projects.
