Buying opportunities @ 173.60/80 zone. On the 1 HR chart we have just passed the 61.8 fib.....not that I pay attention to fibs that much but it confirms the resistance points. Hope we can make some pips today, good luck

As usual, that 15M chart with a 333 sma rules the short term trades....one can spot buy or sell for the London Open. My favorite, let's all gang-up on the
London open time frame

I wonder who exactly is trading for the big sovergn wealth fund accounts during these vacation periods! in October they get serious again.

Looks to me like it may be a good buy right now. Check out the daily doji, sitting on decent support, 172.964 is the 52nd square progression from 9/2011 for folks who believe in that sort of thing, I do. I can't get in on Friday afternoon though no matter how much I like it.

And.. It's pretty close to a trend line from 2/2013. It looks like it will close the week above the key support also. I'll probably be in it next week unless there's more global madness in the news mucking up things.

It is likely to break 173 and see the support around 172.70 first then test 172.40...

i dunno guys. I look at this pair and see up up up and away! but nothing lasts forever. given the wordly events going on w/ gaza and the plane crash, risk aversion could have banks and investors putting money in yen. I mean the pound has been rallying for well over a year now... but perhaps is running low on gas and this is just the thing it needs for a correction into the mid 160's. daily and weekly charts look like thats not out of the realm of possibility. only time will tell but Im very cautious long right now with all thats going on. dollar and yen could start flexin soon. but thats just me, thinkin through a keyboard.
