You can get monthly cost basically to zero ?
Any tradeoff between trading aggressive vs. less aggressively with smaller position size ?
1) no need to buy new evaluation accounts.
2) no need to spent time to get new funded accounts again.

Hi montygoldy,

Now that 2025 is coming to a close & it appears the year has been kind to you. I would like to ask if I may what are your plans going into 2026. I followed along with your posting for the better part of 2025 & I must say your success is not the norm for the average poster on FF. I have private futures account & have been with one prop firm for many months & prefer the private account much better than the prop but using a prop firm has its good points if you trade it correctly following their rules & get what you can while you can get it. Look forward to your response. Best of trades to you in 2026 & beyond.

Slow becomes too slow like you build up wins for 6-7 days then couple of stupid red days put you back to the start.....wastage efforts...
I like combination of aggressive n slow meaning trying to sprint to payout threshold in first couple of days then back to normal...

My mind is clear i dont want to build accounts i want PAYOUTS... So my risk strategy is based on that. Even if fail first try i dont mind....

My overall costs are always cheap coz i pick cheap 50k evals only... Even i fail in first try it doesnot imapact.... My ratio is payout between 1 to 3 tries from evals --> sims --> payouts...

Also my rule is PAYOUT fund further evals... IF i dont get a payout i dont invest in evals... otherwise it becomes revenge trading cost go up... which happened to me on december... Lesson learnt

FOr 2026... My goal is build more earning avenues.....

1. Props (Personal)
2. Personal (Using incorporation or llc or something that reduces taxes)
3. Start stocks n crypto portolio.
4. Build X and start affiliate selling (Insane money out there without a sweat)
5. Buy my first real estate (a rental property)

Achievable goals.... Nothing fancy....

Goal is to go all in 2026.... Maybe i go fulltime If i reach 1 million liquid assets....


Also goal is to improve trading and reduce costs as much as possible....

Maybe 1mil PROPS payouts

Hey Crypto I am not assuming I can just trade Gold like Monty, just trying an experiment. Like I said originally I don't trade Gold regularly.
After thousands of hours of trading every morning I am leaning more and more to rely on just gut instinct. The subconscious mind is far more powerful than the conscious mind but it can be challenging to let your logic part of your brain go to the side and let the subconscious do the work.
Anyway the experimental account died sorry guys.
If you guys want me to post another then tell me by getting at least 5 thumbs up or I want bother you guys with it.

Your gut instinct will evolve the more you learn. You still have to acknowledge when you’re in a bad trade, regardless what your gut told you.

Like I stated before, it’s not so much gut instinct rather it’s intuition.

Trading is simple.

Enter anywhere and if it does not go your direction, cut it quick, but if it does, seat on your hands and seat for hours or days or weeks.

Easy and simple. If you loose 1% 10 times but then you can hit 1 trade for 25%. Imagine next time, you hit SL 5 times and make on one trade 25%. Happy!

I have been practicing this way of trading for the past 6 months. Below are hourly charts for Dow Futures, I wait for 10% TP once trade go's my way. Incredible.

you have to see the market as a b.tch dancing in front of you , start WATCHING her from the morning to the evening , day in , day out, (SCREENTIME) there comes a moment you know some of her best moves ,( you can never be 100% sure because she IS A B.TCH > STOPLOSS) enought to start DANCING with her > start of your profitable career…

a famous saying :” Cut your losses short, let your profits run”

most traders do the opposite , staying too long in a losing trade , HOPING it will come back and when in profit they sell to quicky AFRAID of losing those profits, this is confirmed by the stats of brokers

Trading goes AGAINST human nature, that is why the first thing to learn as a trader is to LEARN to take losses quickly , put in that fu….. stoploss and leave it there.

most people want to be right most of the time and think a high win rate is only the road to succes > for example , martingale approach

a lot of the best traders dont even achieve 50% winning trades , if your average win is $2 with ONLY 50% winining trades and your average loss is $1 then YOU ARE MAKING MONEY !

I second that, rough estimate is to spend 50k to 60k in EVALS in a year;
the return on that, how much one can make is based on the skill of the trader

its a solid strategies many use, not special, not very good outcome, but very basic and easy to do with still ok net-outcome better than nasdaq longterm invest ETF (depends how you use it , how is tax situation ,... and so on).

if you invest more time and do it over years or better decades you will switch maybe to more advanced versions with cut out losers to make it better work by math.
