DislikedHi!
I'm facing a problem with my MT4 daily data, it show the Sunday data (as below picture - red and black arrows). But as I know it is the opening hours in Monday of Tokyo and NZ. ........Ignored
DislikedThis is a widely known problem.
The only reliable solution I know of is to find a br0ker whose time zone is GMT+2 (list here). I use GoMarkets, for example.
Then you can use this br0ker for your analysis, and forex.com (assuming that you want to stay with them) for placing your trades.Ignored
DislikedI think your indicator is showing correctly, inspite that most of the brokers are closed during weekends, the forex market is really never closed,
just brokers are, trades are being made even on weekends.Ignored

DislikedDoes anyone have any trick to make my platform be able to show me the pip value calculator and position size like in Oanda's fxTrade?
As I'm using SGD as my base currency, I have been unsuccessful in looking for such tools online. Can anyone help?Ignored
DislikedYes, I believe that this is possible. If you post exactly what you want on the Platform Tech forum, maybe somebody who knows how to code MQL4 will notice it.Ignored
DislikedHello
I just downloaded metatrader4 with oanda for demo to learn how to use it. Right now i am clueless as to how metatrader works. I trade live with oanda and most of my trades happen when I am sleeping.
My question is does metatrader4 have an automaded alert or order entry for when your trade is in the money an X amount of pips to set your stop even to hedge against losses?
This thread is awesome! Thanks!Ignored
DislikedJimmy,
If I may generalize, MT4's trading platform is deliberately minimalist and primitive, because it's backed by a powerful programming language. Hence the trading platform itself allows only the most basic buy/sell/close operations (with TP and SL). But if you are a programmer, you can automate the most sophisticated of strategies; alternatively, you can find literally thousands of free third party developed indicators and EAs (expert advisors or trading robots) that suit your purpose. These vary from simple straddles, hedges, OCO, etc right...Ignored
DislikedI am not tech proficient so I hope someone can help me. I have found some plug-ins I would like to use. I put them in the indicator list and they do not work. Can someone explain how I get these loaded and on a chart? Thank you.Ignored
