Help to tweak a couple of indicators

Hi all,

I have a couple of indicators that I find very useful but need to make a couple of adjustments to so that I can continue to use them, and make them even more useful.

The first one draws a line at the day open, based on a time offset that you give it (so that it can account for different broker times and I can keep it set at NY close). The problem is that firstly it can only draw a line at a whole hour so I cannot set it to draw the line at NY open at 14:30, or London close at 16:30.

The second indicator gives me my ATR stats for the last xx days. My problem is on my new broker they show Sunday bars and this indicator gets completely screwed by it. So it would be great if someone could modify this indicator so that it simply ignores any Sunday bar in the calculation.

Ok managed to find a slightly newer version of the day open line which can handle any time (i.e. NY open at 2.30GMT) but the way it is set up means if using a 1h chart, the bar does not stay at the time it was set (say 2.30), it moves to the open of the next 1h bar instead (3pm). I am sure there is a way around this as I think I have seen indicators before that have based themselves on a lower tf than the one you are looking at and still show correctly?

Also I need it based on the CLOSE of the bar I am targeting and not the open of the bar (for example I want to see NY close....not the start of the next bar AFTER ny close, which screws up Mondays due to the gap), probably easy to do but looking at the code I can't even see how it's using the open!

Oh and for some reason the line it draws seems to stop 1 bar early on 30min or 1h charts but stops at the right place on 5min, as per the pic it has started on the correct bar but should go 1 bar further to where the spike is, it is only drawing the line 23 hours across, not 24.

This is the 1h, stopping 1 hour too soon (it should go to that spike)


This is the same thing on the 5min where the spike clearly goes through the line because the line is going the extra hour to the correct stopping point


As for the ATR one, I still haven't found a single basic atr indicator that can ignore sundays. I just want to drop it on a chart and have it show todays range yesterdays range and the ATR of the last xx days exactly like the one above...but without it being screwed up by the Sunday bar. There must be some standard code somewhere that can perform calculations but ignoring sundays that it could be based on?

Ok I have just noticed that during the final hour of the current day (whatever time it is set to) it correctly draws the line right up to that hour. As soon as that hour ends, it redraws the line 1 bar shorter! So the code is correct while we are in the CURRENT day, but the part of the code that draws the line on previous days is drawing it 1 bar shorter than it should be.

This is it during the last hour of the day (I have the day set to end at 9pm UK time which is NY close)


This is what it has done the second that final hour has ended (i.e. a new 'day' has started according to the time I have the indi set to start at), you can see suddenly the line is 1 bar shorter than it was, which is now wrong


Seems to be a small logic error in the code somewhere but I am not sure what it is
