Hi,
Does anyone know why this 2 expressions retrieve the same result,
MA = iMA(60,0,21,0,MODE_SMMA,PRICE_CLOSE,0);
MAD = iMA(1440,0,21,0,MODE_SMMA,PRICE_CLOSE,0);
And it's the same with:
MA = iMA(PERIOD_H1,0,21,0,MODE_SMMA,PRICE_CLOSE,0);
MAD = iMA(PERIOD_D1,0,21,0,MODE_SMMA,PRICE_CLOSE,0);
The result is always as if it was this expression:
MA = iMA(NULL,0,21,0,MODE_SMMA,PRICE_CLOSE,0);
Anyone has a clue about why does this happens and what to do to solve it?
I know if I'm on H1 timeframe I can calculate the 21 SMMA multiplying 21*24, but then I would need to do one more line for each timeframe I want to use, and it's only an aproximation.
Best regards,
Joaquim Fonseca
