I've been working with currency strength for many years, but over the last three years I realized that making money is much easier with stocks, so I'm focusing more on CFDs on stocks and pure stocks. I "understood" that no indicator fit my way of thinking (we're all unique) and my trading philosophy. I tried and continue to try countless indicators, some very good, "but" they never displayed the information I wanted or weren't very customizable. So I decided to embark on this project and tailor it to my personality perfectly, without repainting, delays, or smoke and mirrors; "those of you who have been doing this for a while already understand." This project is just the beginning of a small, mechanical part of my trading.
I always wanted an indicator that could filter out assets that were trending, reversing, etc. There are some great systems and strategies on this forum. Most fail when it's not the right time to enter, and this scanner helps with that. It tells you when a symbol is a good entry point.
The problem is not the strategy itself, but when you use it: it's not the right time.
If this has happened to you, this scanner is for you.
You only need two things: to know the strategy you're using and this scanner to know when to use it. Give it time, and you'll see how it filters out many bad days, weeks, months, or even years.
In this thread, I'll showcase a Multi_scanner that will surprise you with its quality and versatility in assisting your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly trading. Depending on how the thread evolves and the reception of this fantastic tool, we may or may not move to the fully automated part.
I've always strived to maximize performance with the least amount of analysis (time) possible.
It can be used on all types of assets, from forex to stocks. If it's on MT5, it can be customized. It's a tool that has everything I've always wanted in an indicator that adapts to my needs. I hope it adapts to you and that you enjoy it as much as I do.
The creation of the scanner is inspired by the IBD (Investor's Business Daily) system. I want to thank my good friend Ángel, who discovered the system and shared it with me. Also, thank you to my good friend Carlos, without whom this wouldn't be possible.
I found it to be one of the simplest and most productive systems I've ever encountered. Bringing order to the chaos of the market is certainly a positive experience. I never saw this system adapted to MT5; it was always used on a D1 chart and with stocks, ETFs, bonds, etc., always beyond the scope of MT5. Therefore, it can now be adapted for intraday trading if desired. And of course, I never saw it offered for free. Take a few minutes to investigate the system; there's a very significant business built around it.
The great virtue of this scanner is that it brings order to chaos.
The versions I share in this thread will be updated every six months, so the latest version will be retired every six months. This version will expire at the end of 2026, at which point it will stop working. This doesn't mean you won't be able to use it; it means that every six months I will update the code with improvements and bug fixes. It's a free product and will remain so for all FOREXFACTORY users. This is a small token of my appreciation for all the knowledge I've gained here with you over the past 20 years.
I want to make it clear that I'm not selling anything, nor will I lie to anyone. I look forward to your feedback so I can continue developing the project. I also hope you'll comment daily on how it's working for you, your sets, results, etc. Ultimately, we all want to learn more about how to make money in the market.
If you dedicate a few days or weeks to understanding how it works, you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's a tool that should be part of our trading, regardless of the type of trader you are: scalper, day trader, or swing trader. It helps you "FOCUS".
Currently, I use it with stock CFDs on the broker ICMARKETS with very good results, although it can be used with any asset class compatible with MT5.
For me, it's a life project, and since I started using it, I haven't lost money in the medium to long term, so I'll continue using and developing it.
Note: I don't think it's a product suitable for everyone, as it requires discipline to use. If you're not disciplined, it's best not to use it.
Without further ado, I'm going to show you how to use it step by step before you can download it, to avoid assembly confusion. I hope to explain it little by little, as there are so many configuration and customization possibilities for each user that it will take me some time to upload all the information to the forum. I would appreciate it if you have any questions about the scanner, and I will clarify all your doubts as soon as possible.
This is the initial version of the scanner: https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...nner-score-ibd?
Here are some images of how the scanner appears in version 9.04
The scanner is extremely effective at analyzing market momentum and trend changes, depending on the configuration, and can analyze up to 500 symbols or more in the same market; the scanner has no limits, the limit is set by your PC.
As can be seen in some images, the scanner is shown in different US markets and configurations (NAS, NYSE) as well as in different ways of ordering the signals and CFDs of the EUROPEAN market (.ETR, .LSE, .MAD, .PAR, .AMS, etc.)
I'm using Google Translate to translate the text into English; if there are any phrases that don't make much sense, I hope you'll excuse me.
