EIA: US natural gas storage up by 79 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage across the United States increased by 79 billion cubic feet in the week ending May 3 compared to the previous seven-day period to reach 2,563 billion cubic feet, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its report published on Thursday. On an annual level, the figure advanced by 444 billion cubic feet. Additionally, the stockpiles grew by 640 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 1,923 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was higher than the five-year historical range.
