Economic Expectations Are Increasing Significantly
The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for Germany recorded a strong increase of 9.8 points in March 2019, with the corresponding indicator climbing to a level of minus 3.6 points. Although the indicator is still below the long-term average of 22.2 points, the expectations for the medium-term economic development are less pessimistic than they were a month or two ago.
