Text alert from MT4 to cell phone

Hi all,

I've read several articles on how to get price points to send an alert via text (or text email) to cell phones. I even opened a Bluebottle account, but could not get it to work. If anyone can help with a step by step explanation, it would be much appreciated. I am not after straight email, but text email (eg 1234567890@abc.com) and/or a text message to my cell phone.

Ok, I will try to help. Please tell me what you've done up to this point. Then we will backtrack and try to find where your problem is.

You say you have followed the guides you have found. Is the email account you set up getting the emails? Are you trying to use an indicator or have you tested a simpler metatrader price alert? Can you send an email you your bluebottle account and get it to forward to your cellphone?

It is very easy !! Open a rediff account and send a mail with all the details you require in the subject matter of email. like 'Profit200Openbuytot75openselltot50' and set the message rule in rediff to divert it to your mobile. it will send you to your mobile, i.e you can see the subject !!!

I think this depends on the mobile carrier. Finding the mobile carrier address is where the solution lies.
