I use a "close all orders" script to close everything when necessary. And I got to thinking.... is there a way to write a script to open positions on multiple pairs quickly?
I find myself regularly wanting to trade four pairs in the same direction at different times of the day:
EURAUD
EURNZD
GBPAUD
GBPNZD
So I was wondering if there could be a script which would first ask the size and the direction of the positions to open. And then after entering those values, the script would automatically open one position on each of the pairs in the direction and size specified.
Best case scenario would be several inputs for strings/pairs in the extern variable window where the user could enter whichever pairs he/she wanted (go long on all xxx.jpy pairs at the same time, etc.).
Just had the thought and thought I'd test the water and see how difficult this would be to make. I'm a novice programmer... only able to dissect indicators like a cooked turkey...
