Hypothetical Question.
So you've spent the last 3 years constantly trading the markets live and in a simulator 12 hours a day 6 days a week.
You now have a really good 'feel' for the markets and a sound knowledge of technical analysis and the correct way to use it.
You only trade PA and trade on multiple timeframes. Your averaging at least 10% a month live for the last year and have made 5k into 10k risking 1% per trade.
If you took your experience and results to London is there any possibility of presenting them to somebody in the hope they might take you on as a trader so you could trade your methods with an investors or banks money?
Has anyone ever got a job as a trader by proving themselves first privately and recording their success?
I know there are other threads about working for a company or hedge fund but i guess my question is that if you got a job at one of these would you be forced to change your trading strategy or would they just set you up in the corner and let you trade the way you know you can with your own screen and own desk etc?
