Okay, I admit it, I go to sleep late, after midnight ... and sometimes I'll doze early in the evening and be stuck at 2-3a.m. flipping through the channels because I can't get back to sleep.
I used to see a good deal of 4XMadeEasy and various other GlobalTec commercials, only now, I came across a new one, though basically the same, called PremiereTradeAI.
Low and behold, they play the same game ... go to our seminar, conveniently in your area.
Well, I decided to hop online and have a looksie at their website. Amazingly, the site is a dead ringer for GlobalTec's products, though PTAI combines all the separate programs into one, has a few extra bells and whistles, and retails around the $5K mark.
So I have to ask myself ... was there a break-away at GlobalTech by some of the programmers or upper management with this very similar offering as the result? Or perhaps the class action lawsuits have something to do with it?
Whatever the case, just like 4XME, the charting looked pretty neat. They even had a few arrows in there, but this software added some momentum and other indicators (my being relatively new to Forex, I'm not really sure how much they add to the effectiveness of the product).
Well, I did think it rather interesting to see this and wondered if anyone in the know here might be able to shed some light on this product.
I've already read through the posts here and found that most believe the 4XME system not to be worth the money.
I'm definately looking for a good set of free tools. I've been playing with Refco, and their charting java applet is rather small, and I really don't know which indicators to turn on at which levels.
I've been to:
http://www.goforex.net/results-2004-2005.htm
and looked at the top-rated brokerages. I've read recommendations by some of the Forum members here and looked at your sponsored brokerages too.
Really not knowing which way to go just yet, so any suggestions would be a real help!
Also, has anyone ever considered getting a group of traders together via skype (internet telephony) at a few key hours to trade together with some of the more experienced members of the forum? I for one would really value this type of experience.
I realize that to some, trading strategies are "secret recipies", but I'd like to believe that if you here in this forum, you're willing to help and be helped.
Just thought I'd run that idea by you and see if there's any interest!
Well, I've rambled long enough ... Glad to be here and hope to learn to the best of my ability.
Best Regards,
Cet.
