With the introduction of BDM1.40 you can change your whole charting system to

Non standard timeframes using the timeframe multiplicator.

I am very busy with the BDM v1.40 test release and i the meantime i will post some new features of the 1.40.

Ever had it ? you click on the wrong window close button and you MT4 running BDM and charts closed down.
If you start the terminal again BDM would start but it had no knowledge off the charts it had open or would be able to make a distinction between his and your own charts.
So it either created additional charts (making even more a mess of things than MT4 already did) or had to delete ALL charts including yours.

Not anymore, using this setting

BDM will constantly keep track of his charts and will remove them on a restart leaving your own charts.

Is only takes a really tiny, tiny bit of performance from the chart handling and if there where orphan charts a bit longer startup time.

There is something wrong with your templates (used multi strength setting for them ?)
There a left over objects shining through, unload the indicator once, make sure there are no object left behind , load it again and save the template.

About next BDM v1.40, RENKO, tick and period converter charts.

In the new release you can select twe new timeframes for the most (only appropriate) charts.
They are TICK (fixed M9) and RENKO (fixed M19).

Also appropriate charts will have a timeframe multiplier setting and this will start the period converter for that chart converting the selected period to the period * timeframe multiplier. So a with a timeframe multiplier set to 2 and a period setting of M1 will open a chart for M2 and a period setting of D1 will open a D2 chart.

Because driver and chart are linked BDM will automatically open, close or change the drivers if a special chart (M9, M19 or period*multieplier) is opened, closed or changed symbol.

Also charts outside the initial settings can be changed to RENKO, TICK or period converter using these buttons.
For now i sacrificed the W1 and M1 buttons for it but i will find some room somewhere later on.

[T]ick [R]enko and the input field is the period converter.

This way you can change your whole BDM system in renko,tick or non standard periods.

For single pair selections combination of the three chart type are possible through the settings.
