hi guys, does anyone know how to get rid of the bid price line in MT5 ( not MT4 which is easily done) leaving the price label hilight on the price axis ?

I don't think you can if you don't display the line then it does not highlight the price either.

yea sadly it seems there's no option to separate the bid line from the price highlight, OMG this bid line is such a pain

There's an upgrade available for MT5...it's called MT4

Isn't this any good ? I have no Bid or Ask line . . .

when set to none, the price highlight default color becomes black, so it only works with gray charts or non black charts, but i need black background charts

so the good news is that there is a way to separate the bid line from the price highlight but how do you set the price highlight color ?

Ah I see . . . I don't think you can, you could use a utility like the one I have on my chart to show the price, the size, position (left or right side of chart) and colour are configurable

Yes it does, if you change the Bid line colour to yellow you will get a yellow price highlight . . . what you want is no Bid or Ask line but also a highlighted price, I don't think that is possible.

LOL so it looks like this bloody bid price line is still a problem

as far as i've seen on the mql forum , the issue is not whether or not to insert a line of code enabling to show or not to show the bid line - this option is already available in MT5 chart properties

the problem is , once you uncheck "show bid price line" in chart properties , the bloody PRICE LABEL disappears as well

so does anyone know how to write a line of code that separates the bid price line from the price label , so that when you choose not to show the bid price line , the PRICE LABEL does NOT disappear as well ?????????

Hi

Also looking for a way to do that.

Alternative : Perhaps a kind coder can modify the attached to highlight only the
price label on the right without displaying the price on the chart/Color choosable???
