DislikedHi Kiads, Is there any indicator that you have that just builds bricks based on the actual range? Or is there a way for me to configure the existing indicators to achieve this? Regards NeioIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi My Friend, sorry for my old brain and worst English, what do you meant with actual range ? since price base chart like renko, constant range bars, kagi, point and figure ,etc work with fixed range to 'slash' price movement to represent visual statistic to our further analysis.. MTHIgnored
Disliked{quote} Basically to build a fixed sized brick based on any price movement. So for example if I had a 10 pips brick size. It would build a brick on the chart for any price movement that is 10 pips in range. I think this is what range bars are? Regards NeioIgnored
Disliked{quote} Renko bricks are hiding the real price movement. I want to build fixed sized bricks that show the real price movement. If that makes sense. Apologies if my request is stupid or confusing.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ah, I know my friend, do you meant you want to see 'inside brick' movement. well, how much closer do you want to look at the price movement ? actually my shifted renko can 'visually' represent almost any price movement even in 'tick' level, but of course you need strong cpu resources for your computer if you want to see several pairs due the intensive read-write process to build offline chart and MT4 is a not multi thread program. if you set your brick size to 1 point, and you set your shifted to 10% you will get every 0.1 point price movement...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Many thanks my friend. It is not really inside brick movement that I am trying to see. For example if you have a 10 pip brick that prints between 10 and 20 on a price chart. If you have a shift of 50% the next brick will either print between 15 and 25 (for a bullish bar) or 15 and 05 for a bearish bar. Correct? Say if the bar was bullish and it printed a brick between 15 and 25 price points. What you would not see on the Renko chart would be the real price movement. You would not see any price moves that might have happened between 06 and...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Do you already try 1 point brick size ? with 100% shift (standard renko)...? still i don't understand what your term of real price movement, candlesticks and bar chart can't 'visually' represent that movement in any level of TF. we only can see 'framing' movement.., while line chart and tick chart only represent point to point movement, etc... Disliked{quote} OK my friend no worries. I will give the 1 pip brick size a go. Many thanks again for your wonderful indicators!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi My Friend, this is the comparison between EURUSD M1 candlestick chart and EURUSD M11 shifted renko with 0.5 brick size and 100% shift, maybe you can see that they mostly similar in price movement adaptation.. EURUSD M1 {image} EURUSD renko 0.5 brick size shifted 100% {image} hope it help and best regards MTHIgnored
DislikedKiads, As I can't stand all day in front of my screen, would you mind to remember the brick set-up for higher time frame renko chart please ? I don't remember if it's 32 bricks or 24 bricks. Trading mostly on JPY pairs. Thanks for your help as alwaysIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi My Friend, just look at your market time indicator equivalent, if you want to use H4 as reference, GBPJPY H4 avg for last 1440 candles = 49 pip/candle rounded up to 50 with shift 12.5% you will get roughly 6.25 point per step. EURJPY H4 avg for last 1440 candles = 36 pip/candle rounded up to 40 with shift 12.5% you will get 5 point per step USDJPY H4 avg for last 1440 candles = 25 pip/candle rounded up to 30 with shift 12.5% you will get roughly 3.75 point per step. etc. hope it help and best regards MTHIgnored
