David,
Thanks for responding. To clear up some confusion about confusion that I see here
I do run Win7, but because of discussions with you and others, I simply moved my MT4 from under Program Files to its own folder under C:\. And your News Setup has run fine along with FFCal.exe which I now have to run separately first to download news. What has happened is that Download News was working fine as a MT4 script- when initiated it loaded, in either auto or manual mode, the FFCal.exe and I got the news. At about the time you announced you were no longer updating it, Download News stopped working on my PC, but this is no problem, as I simply run FFCa.exel that is loaded separately on my PC desktop as a shortcut.
Why Download News has stopped working, I do not know. Don't think it has to do anything with Win7 or your decision not to update.
So what I asked Sanami was whether his 'update' would work on its own, without manual intervention as I now have to do. Looks like there are many FFCal products floating around, hence the other part of the confusion.
BTW, over the last several days, I don't seem to be able to get Medium News after erasing and then retyping Medium=Yellow after High=Lime, on your products MT4 menu...tried reloading, retyping etc. But again, this is a minor inconvenience. High importance news continue fine. Also I had to manually change the GMT offset after DST took effect, but changed it back to the old setting after 2 days- so something happened in between, and this situation I have noted with several folks online. Strange things happen.
Looking forward to some more great products from you, whenever you have the time !
Regards,
Athar.

DislikedJust to clear up any possible confusion.........
I'm afraid you're largely misinformed. It's true that the latest version (v3.21) of the indicator that I developed no longer works correctly on some Win7 computers. But that has nothing to do with the FF calendar format change.
However, this thread offers and discusses a completely different product, even though it happens to also be named FFcal. As I pointed out in the footnote here, the FFcal.mq4...Ignored
