Hi,
Meta Trader4 is banned by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) due to security reason.

Cheers,

Hi Mqsg,
You may want to call up MAS to confirm. It's about security loop-hole.

If you Google this phrase "metatrader4 platform ban in Singapore", you can also find people talking about it.

You can use MT4 to monitor the price movement and then use your broker's platform to enter a trade.

Confirmed: Citi is going live on MT4 in their citifxpro.com platform in Singapore at the end of June. However to be a customer MAS require you to be a qualified investor meaning you must have either assets >S$2mm or income > S$300k per annum

Hi fxking...

GFT now offers MT4 in Singapore. We also pay the fee that is typically buried within the spread.

I don't recall the MAS publishing any reports about the MT4. You can check their archive if you have the time.

Interesting read. You may be surprised to learn that one of the most heavily advertised course provider in Singapore had been issued a Cease and Desist order.
