Hi traders,
I have seen a lot of comments about the de-centralized forex exchange market structure which render volume info to a large extent useless(unless you infer that large tick volume == large trade volume). Yet a lot of brokers still brag about they are able to show depth of market, I am not completely sure if they mean you are able to see the specific broker's order book or the liquidity provider's order book. Still the problem is even on a liquidity providers level, there are so many out there that anyone single depth of market view may just be a fraction of the whole picture. Does this mean that this whole promotion of being able to see the depth of market capability is just another marketing strategy of the broker that may not possess such huge power than it sounds?
Thx
