Hi,

Please, place pictures of your chart with explanations of your trade system.....
Go ahead and test the logic out. Theres options to adjust sl/tp/lot and if you select equity lot to be true, it will take your desired risk for the trade and calculate that for when the sl is hit. Trailing doesnt work yet. Let me know how the overall logic is.

Also it places the trade only if at the time the arrow is produced price is already below or above the ma (depending on up or down arrow). If arrow is produced it wont wait for price to cross over. Let me know if thats correct

Hi,

I'm getting ordre error 131 in tester when using the equity settings.
Is there a chance you can look at that?

I can say from initial testing, that it get's a win procent of 60%.. so quite good. Steady money so far

I trying it out "live demo" on different pairs.

Does your broker have a suffix or prefix for symbols? Glad to here that. Will add the trailing stop function today.

The EA is severly broken. Even if one configures it to use 0.01 lots (default settings) it tries to open orders of 5-10 lots right from the start, before any indicator was loaded.

I do not know? I use IC Markets.

It might need to be tweaked, but I do not have the same problem as you.

If I set the lot to 1.0 it will only open lots of 1.0

I started it with default settings as they come out of the box.

This is purely a development thread for honeggeral and me.

You can test if you want, but you have NO SETTINGS! So how can you give feedback?

Ok sound found some issues
It places buy and sell trades now and the trailing function in now in there. Once your desired tp is hit, it will set the sl "TrailingPoints" away from current price. For every pip it moves in favor of the trade it will adjust the sl. Your broker doesn't have prefixes or suffixes and mine does so i fixed that too. Test it out for me with a visual test and template loaded to see if the logic is ok

Where does it try to open 5-10 orders? If you're referring to unmatched data error it means historical data in your data center can not be matched between different time frames, it has nothing to do with ea logic. Also its not meant for Metals yet (:

Also you cant just start an ea out of the box. The settings need to be optimized for certain pairs if you have fixed tp/sl levels

Its an EA with entry based on MA and indicator posted by Kongjarl.
"Buy when there is a green arrow AND above MA
Sell when red arrow and below MA"

It works great now! Equity is perfect and my results are still quite stable!

Regarding trailingstop. Could it be designed that way, that when it reaches a certain target (lets say 100 points) it start trailing and will take profit if it falls (lets say 20 point). This way we could have an infinitive TP as it will close the deal if the trade reverse after a certain point.

Hope you understand my logic
