List of companies offering funding for forex traders:
BluFx
- monthly fee
- no evaluation stage
- max.DD = 10%
- payout only after +5% profit increments
- growth plan = +30% profit to $1,000,000 account
- 50% profit share
My opinion: why would someone give real $25,000 to anyone with £99/month without any qualifications??? Monthly fee is not great option.
The 5%ers
- one-time fee
- evaluation stage = target 6% with 4% DD, no time limit
- max.DD = 4%
- growth plan = double account every +10%
- 50% profit share
My opinion: good growth plan, too low DD limit to allow for any reasonable account growth. It may take you long time to grow account with only 4% DD cut-off. Very low max. lot exposure.
FTMO
- one-time fee
- evaluation stage = overall you need +15% with max. 10% overall DD and max. 5% daily DD limit in up to 90 days
- max.DD = 10%
- growth plan +25% of initial account equity every 4 months if +10% profit reached
- 70% profit share
My opinion: good ratio between max.DD and profit needed to get funded. You can repeat challenges and stack accounts to up to 300K per trader per strategy. Very high profit share.
Traders4Traders
- one-time fee
- evaluation stage= you need to achieve +12% with overall max. 4% DD with no time limit but there is ONLY 2% weekly loss limit!!!
- max.DD = 4%
- no growth plan
- progressive 50-80% profit share plan
My opinion: it is the cheapest option but with the most restrictive rules for evaluation stage. Too harsh weekly loss limit. It will be very hard and too slow to grow account and make profits.
Traders Destiny
- one-time fee
- evaluation stage= you need to achieve +10% with overall max. 4% DD
- max.DD = 4%
- growth plan = double account every +10%
- 40% profit share
My opinion: the most expensive option. Seems to be a copy of 5%ers with smaller profit share.
From my research it seems that FTMO seems to be the best option when limitations are considered and 2nd option would be 5%ers.
