As you can see above on Jenkins Tip you can DOUBLE :

- the PRICE
- the TIME

but you can also DOUBLE

the PRICE RANGE

hence the "Operational Price Range"

A Chart is worth a thousand of words :

Let's take the EURUSD as our basic example for the demonstration. I use TradingView and TradingView basic settings

I use a Triad of 3 Envelopes 32, 128 and 256 Time Units (whatever the Time Unit used)

These Envelopes are built on Centered Moving Averages to which I add and substract a fixed parameter linked to the Gann Octave

Here I have used as Fixed parameter 0.0015625 for the Envelope 256 TU (brown), then for the Envelope 128 I divided 0.0015625 by 2 (0.00078125, and again by 2 (0.000390625)

Note that DOUBLING from Bottom to Top or HALVING from Top to Bottom produces the same result.

Note also that the Envelope 256 (brown) using these parameters includes "most of" EURUSD Price Action in 1 minute

For the 6 Months / 120 minutes Chart you observe that you do not need to double the previous parameters.

Hereunder the 1 Year chart / Daily with 2 successive DOUBLING of the Envelopes parameters

To paraphrase Jim Hurst the methodology is "robust, but not bad"

Parisboy, to this day I am amazed on just how predictable the charts can be when I put a few tools on. Fact of the matter is, it's difficult to sleep most of the time. Personally it can effect one and their perception maybe because you know the outcome usually before the event is over.

Predictable - yes - within a few scenarii which repeat themselves endlessly

Hence we use "high probability" patterns
