no I let it program by a prof coder - I paid for it
My EA inculdes some more features/indicators to filter the breakout

sorry , at the moment I will not share it here for free

I just wanted to emphasize that this core system of "asian breakout" can be traded very profitable if you do some more logical filtering

I can just recommend to stick to this system and think about how to avoid trades in false direction. The backbone of this system is still the breakout of the asian session. I read the charts hunderts of hours and tested different indicators (Stochatics, %ADR, Schaff....) for filtering false breakouts.

Please no not ask me to share my EA - do your own work and let s discuss which filter you like to filter the breakout

I dont want your EA, but do you mind sharing what filters did you use to have that result?

As you paid for it I dont want your EA either and was joking when I said how much (its not allowed as you know to try and sell so jus aswell you didn't lol) as yeah..id rather got a programmer to make my own. Ive also suggested and do look at other indicators on charts to work out options. When I get the chance/time I may bet back to this but am using an EA form the link I posted anyway and that is free at the moment. Ill ask folks in there for help too when I need. Oh and happy to post more here now there is some life back in this thread.

The EA that I have is good but one thing I need in an EA is that it only opens a trade when the relevant candle closes outside the box (e.g. not when it hits the top/bottom only) and even better if it can be at a close at within a set % of the range outside the top/bottom. As I say I may ask someone to program this for me if I ever get the time. Sadly I have a hectic fulltime job at the moment.

do you think a "close" outside the box is a good point to filter breakouts? I have never tested it. MY visual backtest did not show me that. But maye I had a different "view" on the data. I more consider the range size of the asian session. I think that is on of the key features to get positive results. I calculate the box as "%ADR"....
