Disliked{quote} Hi Broketrader I do hope I don't come across as a rude but just offering some experiences I have learned along the way. I have just found EURUSD & USDJPY are very hard to code profitable EA's on. I am sure a few other traders may disagreed with me but that just my findings. I do find my most profitable EA's are reversal models and not trending models because its my belief the market is only in a trending market type for around 20% of the time. Disliked{quote} Hi Rick, No problem and no worries as it's always enlightening to discuss and even more when having opposite views ;-) I think that there is no absolute truth, I mean that you can be absolutely right in the way you did and experienced things like that could be the same for me. MAE and MFE? What do you mean...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Betterlife - Keeping it simple for me always works best. I have looked at options like the Stridsmans etc. but its too much work in my eyes. I have just created by own formula based excel spreadsheet that allows me plot ( enter entries and exits figures ) into the columns which then provides the data I need to know. Like profit per trade - loss per trade - drawn down amount - profit factor - Pips Won & Loss - etc like trader explorer. I need only 40 minutes to enter no less than 100 trade entries into the excel sheet, then I can decide...Ignored
