DislikedI did some analysis on E/U H1 data for the last 4000 hours as a sample. Here are some findings: The max distance btw EMA10 and High/Low (depending on trend) was 121 pips. The average distance btw EMA10 and High/Low (depending on trend) was 17 pips, and stddev of 12 pips. There are 1549 readings exceed the average of 17 pips to EMA10. If we take only the readings above the average (count 1549), and average them, the average becomes 40 pips, and stddev of 11 pips. There are 197 readings exceed the new average of 40 pips to EMA10. Adding the stddev...Ignored

DislikedIn essence it will be a scanner based system, similar to the break of an adr high and low. So within the range we doing reversals upon confirmation and going with the trend on the break. Or is a lot more than this, my thoughts... {image}Ignored

During the account life (Sept 19th - Oct 30ty), DAX (as other equity indexes) was in a continuation of the down trend started in June, hence of the trades were on the short side. While Gold was mixed, but more on the long side. The basic idea is to determine the trend using fundamentals, and fade-scalp the reversals using technicals. Selection of volatile instruments for quick exits and less exposure.Ignored
