Well Brokers were against this. At least those who were sane. As it's their money on the table. -> Less money for them or even none if people go elsewhere.

Btw. Offer is not unfortunatelly bigger at all as most of the brokers have multiple branches and therefore some of them are usually based in EU. So you can cross out ADS London(automatically redirected for EU residents) and LMAX as they are both based in London.. FCA will have to obey this ESMA BS at least until GB officially leave EU, then who knows.. But this will be in a year or so.

Great trading Dee. But what was exactly your point? When you clearly didn't use 1:10 leverage... If you would made same amount on €25k then it would make more sense.

Today's trades. 1Stupid loss -16 and a couple where I did not click out fast enough = 3 losers, but the rest in profit. €36.47 net profit = 182 net Pips @ €0.20/lot
I used BE+2 @5 with TP@10 the first few were fine but then I kept getting taken out for +2, so I changed to BE +2 @10 with Partial @10 and TP @20 that some times worked although not one ran thru to TP at 20 without first visiting the BE so some I closed the second lot out manually. Yes you can look at the chart NOW and say "oh you should have done this or you should have done that" Hindsight is 20/20 vision if we all had that books would be written about us and we would be Wizards or Gurus but most likely we would be very poor because there would be no market.
For those wondering why I have posted these results, it is basically very simple, the page could do with a little more colour.
For others, I hope it shows that even a small account traded safely can grow. And that you don't need complex strategies to make it work for you.

Hi Dee,

if you could be kind enough, I'm looking for a little advice, you mention your 16 pip loss and the other two trades that you were not able to close out quickly enough. I also noticed that you often allow trades to go into loss (not by much) before they return to trend and hit either your TP or BE. I am struggling with this just now I regularly close trades too quickly before they return to profit or worse let them drift to hit a hard SL. Could I ask your thoughts when managing a trade with respect to this, at what point do you feel that it is right to close a trade and accept the loss or what gives you the confidence to keep a trade alive until it at least makes BE. I appreciate that a lot of this is down to "GUT" feelings which you have built with experience but if you could give me some pointers to focus on then that would be brilliant

Des. I have to actually think about this so as to put it in words. I do it so automatically now it has become instinctive. I will get back to you on this, soon.

I must confess I have been a Renko skeptic for a while because I saw it as simply an abstraction of the current price chart, a bit like a p&f chart, and unless you are following each brick signal exactly (with a large brick size), it requires another abstraction in the form of some other indicator or rule, to decide what Renko signals are significant. Notably, many of the other contributors to this thread are doing exactly that, including yourself.

So then I wonder why not simply use that particular abstraction instead? A dual or triple MA system can get earlier entries and tighter exits than the Renko bricks (usually). However a profit factor of 10! is nothing to sneeze at. In fact I don't know how to match that feat so I will read your posts, and see what I can learn. Is there any chance of starting your own thread to explain your methods? Do you have a longer term graph?

Truly a wake-up call for me took me back to the bare essentials to see what is absolutely needed on my charts and what must be done away with.
It all came down to one Moving average and a simple MACD.

For @kooza.Image 1,2, and 3 settings for 20SL 20TP BE +2@10 take partial profit 50% @10. image 4. change these settings to change BE +? @?.

When the price comes in and out of the cloud under or over the corvette - can be considered a rollback. But check the round numbers.
The dashed line is SMA144 average.
Colored candles - candles RSI with periods of 5 and levels 40 and 60.

The arrows indicate the possible locations for opening the position. But I was already asleep)

DAX +20+15+7+6+5+5+5-5+7+5+5+18 = 93 pips

I've been quiet for couple of weeks and I'll remain, no more time for posting. This is what I was working on app. last 2 months, clear trading, no indicators, pure PA. I don't trade via Renko charts anymore, even if it was really great time trading with them for over 2 years. It's not perfect, not the best, but I feel like I found holy grail after 4 years of journey, so I think the least I can do for you guys is share it with you and wish you all the best in your own performance.
