Disliked{quote} Good job you did close the trades manually, because if you had left it open you would have lost the max loss your ea is set to.Ignored
DislikedSure, londonboy. We have always said NY session it the trickiest of all. So we trade it only sometimes. I didn´t like it when I saw there was no Price action at all. I supposed something was being prepared, and there it went. Hope no one in real has traded it, buy anyway we try to advise about NY session very frequently.{quote}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yeah I think the NY session is the worst one to trade. There never seem to be enough price action. I am not a huge fan of the Asian session either, spreads are really wide and low volumes. I have uploaded a trade explorer of a demo of your software (started just before the US session today) As you can see a 10% loss - whoops lol. That will take a few days to claw back to break even. I am curious about your EA though, so will be interesting to see what results I get.Ignored
DislikedOh man, what a bad beginning. Anyway maybe in a week you will be break even. Anyway NY uses to have some Price action, but you are right when you say it may be the worst. Hope you will get good results. Anyway you can disable NY session and only trade Tokyo and London. About spreads, the EA doesn´t start just at the rollover time, it waits a couple of hours and, though liquidity is lower and spreas are wider than in London or NY, at that moment spreads are only a Little bit wider.{quote}Ignored
Dislikedyeah, londonboy, I lost 15% on XM, and Tickmill account too!. Also noted that XM runs out of margin faster though..Ignored
DislikedQuestion: what determines your progressive grid to open new trades or not?: 1) eg: right now your demo account shows 2 EJ trades, 10 pips apart; but my XM account shows 3 EJ trades 10 pips apart...all with identical prices. 2) It appears price can go well over several pips but grid doesn't open new trade. Is that normal? 3) If prices goes the wrong way, margin is halved, does your EA know if open new pairs or not?.Ignored
DislikedHi guys, hope all of you closed in profits. Some one could tell please? Tokyo session went through London where all trades were closed by trailing at 1.3% profits. Done for the day and for the week. TODAY IS FRIDAY. A lot of news related to the loonie this afternoon in NY session. BE AWARE PLEASE all in real or demo. Have a nice weekend all. We´ll keep on trading sunday night with Tokyo session. By the way my mate Daniel is cooking something new. For really small 50$ accounts, 1 or 2 pairs traded máximum and great profits. When done, we will pass...Ignored
DislikedHi cstd8888, first of all welcome to ForexFactory and welcome to this thread. Answering your questions the way to open more trades it is inside the EA, is part of its inside building, so it will not be possible to tell you. If you watch it closely in your demo account you will start to discover, more or less, when and where the EA opens new trades. About different brokers it may vary a Little bit. We chose Tick Mill Demo because we know it doesn´t work very well, so if ours Works, real accounts should do it even better. About margin requirements,...Ignored
