Support is always prompt with ohannah and emails are always replied to. I have no problem with your customer support its great actually.

I actually just wanted to make it clear for some people who may be reading this and interested in this ea :

lo62 posted pictures of closed trades without the equity being shown which is not realistic and misleading for some readers....

he/she has since the previous post asking for equity / drawdown to be reavealed....posted a picture showing more info....thanks for that....makes it easier for everyone to track the progress.

This is a good summary.
Everyone see things the way they are thinking, and for me on the top of this 2 things that can't really see:
Why a 100k and why demo is used by OP.
I strongly believe there is about 0 (zero) paid members trading this with anywhere near that equity.
And there is nothing better an ad and proof that OP plays his on EA on a decent live account.
Sure, the support and presence is there, as well are the upgrades... Maybe even too many of those seeing it as an outsider trader who thinks 2 weeks never enough to test a version, especially something that can't be backtested.
there is always, always another trade!!

My long term plans are to attract high end clients (+50k). This demonstration attached to this post is to not only show that o.Hannah can scale up to large accounts, but that it trades so gently and with such minimal draw down that smaller accounts can use it as well. I'm sure you noticed that the account is massively under leveraged at 3:1. All of this while still remaining profitable in the short-term, and as I plan to show, in the long term. The minimum amount you would need to trade this as shown would be $3,000.00 as stated before. A $3,000.00 account will of course need to use more leverage, but please understand my average client is using 1:500 leverage while the account I am demonstrating is at 1:50 leverage with Oanda. If you will check your math you will see this is a highly accurate demonstration of o.Hannah's abilities. Regarding my live account, I trade in tandem with my EA on my live account. The gains are much larger but that is because I am using it very differently. I would not be able to use my live account to represent what an investor could expect because my expertise in trading and EA building impact my live account.

Is so much fun to make money in a real account, but when using a demo account the fun is to destroy the account, as you can easily have another one, and keep on going, unlimited licence for the game.

Same as in every ordinary game, the level of complexity grows as you keep on playing it. Now you reach a huge challenge with the current account, 100k acc, but I think that you can do it. Good luck and happy playing!

MAJOR UPDATE:


After almost a year of development I have FINALLY been able to get my EA to back-test successfully. Due to limitations in the MT4 back testing system I can only back-test one currency at a time, and each currency takes on average 2 hours to complete the back-test due to limitiations in the MT4 platform. Anticipate back-test results being released very soon. Please reply to this thread with currencies you want back-tested so that I can prioritize which currencies I test first. Please understand that to make this work I have had to modify the actual code to allow for this to work and that each back test is ONLY an approximation of SINGLE CURRENCY performance. As always, understand the o.Hannah system is designed to be traded on a MINIMUM of 15 currencies at the same time, not a single currency as MT4 limits me to.

Below is a screenshot of EUR/USD with PEREGRINE 0.17 at 50% completion of backtesting. Once the test has concluded I will post a link to download the results.

To make back-testing possible I was required to disable:

  1. The spread calculator, a system that refines entry and exit prices
  2. Active price deviation Calculator
  3. Hedging Calculator

By disabling these systems to make the EA ready for back-testing it has intensely disturbed the accuracy of o.Hannah's trades, but I feel that any back-testing results would be better than currently showing none. I personally do not feel that back-testing has ever accurately portrayed what an EA is capable of, but I understand that many members rely on back-testing to make purchase decisions. With this new information anticipate versions older than Peregrine 017 to be capable of back-testing. I will need to guide you in the back-testing process as you will need to disable specific systems in o.Hannah, but this should allow for a massive improvement in performance over the coming months now that I have access to a semi-reliable back-testing system. I cannot express how happy I am that I can now approximate performance over longer time periods with the recent discovery. I would like to thank Moodybot and Kenshin for pushing me to continue looking into this issue.

As soon as I have a version that has the back-testing changes implemented I will e-mail you a copy. You will need to enable back-testing in the EA's parameters. This setting will disable specific systems in o.Hannah to allow it to be back-tested. If you use the EA on a live-account without ENSURING the back-test parameter is disabled you will not be using the full potential of o.Hannah. I hope to have you a copy that has back-testing enabled in the next 24-48 hours.

Since nobody does it, and people ask for it, I decided to show my full verified track record on myfxbook.

I bought the EA last year and started yesterday with the version Peregrine016 on a demo account.
If it runs well, I will put it on a real account in a couple of weeks and show my track record here too.

Great work!!! I look forward to doing some backtesting as I have a few high end computers here and lots of history data. Please keep in mind that you can automatically disable your systems during backtesting, and then automatically re-enable them when not backtesting. Have a look at the IsTesting() command in MQL4. In that way, you don't need to worry about forgetting to re-enable stuff when you finish backtesting.

Congratulations again. I seriously thought that you had forgotten about it. That's the best news I've had in the last month

Because you just started your demo test with tickmill, you should change broker for your test. Tickmill demo data feed is not reliable.
it lags, showing wrong prices, hangs etc... and real account famous of slippage, never favour for trader.

sure, i understand plenty things, and also do form opinions on my own trading expertise, some that also involve little insight how to attract investment dollar, and what those investors might look for.
yet to meet one that was looking for demo, but i there is plenty investors around, so, i dont doubt some of those exist, or that you will find your big investor dollars with demo account. everything is possible after all, right?
as for the math, of course it is clear on the leverage, etc.
if anything, you would note that "max return dd%" shown in TE not necessarily correct, as you carry and did carry in the past larger than -0.4% open loss...thus that number isnt the greatest representation of the drawdown.

anyway, good luck on the project. the post was only some personal thoughts that relate to a previous post here...

Its just an opinion. if you have a software can interest to clients ( traders ) maybe are profitable as manual then really you will not need get any client because you will be able to make money using it for yourself. But im sure never a big investor ( the other side of this business ) will allow to manage his money to one software. Not at least is firmed for a knowed company and with guarantees it will be assisted by pro trader.

And this without forget scalping is not an option for big investors/traders. Because you dont forget all is relative and for this investors who hold trades weeks or months, intraday is scalping...

I would recommend you look into absolute draw down vs. Relative draw down, I think that might clear up why you believe the numbers are incorrect. I assure you, the numbers don't lie as long as you understand what they represent.

Having worked in the industry for a well known broker, I can assure you automated trading with human monitoring has been the standard for professional traders for the past 20 years. This is a common myth spread by people that want to sell trading lessons.

As mentioned earlier, I said it was a goal. I am fully aware that I have just entered the market space. The entire point of this was to develop, refine, and market my product. There is no shortcut, it will take time and hard work. By offering my product at a discount I can refine my program and reduce risk, as large investors want to know their funds are safe while being traded. I think you underestimate the amount of people with +50k who in-fact do not go to large firms. I wouldn't be able to prove it to you unfortunately without showing you the trading logs I have seen. Really, 50k is such a small amount of money in trading terms. While working at the brokerage handling anything below 50k account was for the new hires who needed practice.

As a fellow programmer, I see you too enjoy showing your skill on high balance accounts, but in the safety of a demo. We are like brothers now, even starting our testing the same month! what luck!
