Hello,
unless another thread here, that just randomly asked whether people are trading profitable, I would like to raise the question:
Is anyone trading successfully with a Dashboard?
I think there is a public interest in it, as dashboards are
a) commonly known to give a big overview over the market, and
b) are preferred as correlative trading trigger - especially in the forex market!
And c) they are not being doubted by anyone, as far as I know ...
But it's the same story as with currency strength meters - once you show a newbie that indicator, he thinks that this is like the holy grail:
Just buy when the currency is weak, and sell when it is strong. But in real life this is quite different, and you happen to be too late very often.
Isn't it the same with dashboards?!
I also have had my own experiences with trading strategies on Dashboards so far:
Once I followed a big dashboard thread here at ff (called Dash Fibo V1); I even paid a coder to code me an EA that acts as the DB...
just to find out 2 weeks later, that the thread ended up in forexfactories recycling-bin, and the strategy being unprofitable and just totally bs...
I also have a friend, that bought a dashboard on mql5 for some good money, again just to find out it ain't that profitable as it may was advertised.
Now he is not using it anymore, focusing solely on chart analysis of 3 currency pairs in 4 different timeframes.
So, it doesn't seem to be that profitable for everyone.
On the other hand, sitting the whole day in front of just 3 assets, isn't that great, as you miss many opportunities elsewhere.
What experience do you have with it, and might you suggest any dashboard thread here on ff, that is good/ makes sense?!
And btw: If you claim to be successful with DB trading, would you mind to show some results?!
Thanks
