Went long at 1.3355, targeting 1.3401. Currently -30 pips. Stop is somewhere around -100 pips. Should I just cut off early? Keep in mind that I am ok with a trade that lasts several days.

Too late to go long now?

I am just starting to learn candlestick analysis, and the inspiration for that comes from this thread. I bought a Nison book, and I've been reading this thread for awhile. I was looking at the EUR/JPY and I saw a hammer on the 4hr, followed ...

I had read the entire thread (up to page 59 or so), then took a break and now we're at like almost 130 pages... On a scale of 1-10, how rude would it be for me to ask someone to sum up the major developments which occurred over the last 50 pages? ...

Hit my s/l rather than my t/p =-/ That was disappointing. Come home to find it practically in the same place where I left it.

I will bet you if they cut by anything but 50 it will jump at least a bit.

This may be a bit risky, but I'm going to try to long aud/usd. I have a few reasons that are kind of disorganized, but I'll toss em' out there. For one, I see a hammer on the 4 hr. Second reason is that whenever AUS has a rate decision and a rate ...

My Monday morning (I'm in Japan, so it's likely your Sunday night). Basically I opened it as soon as trading re-opened.

Profitcalc just went from SHORT to SHORT (Strong) but no anchor changes yet. I'm sorta eager to get back into a trade, but I don't want to jump the gun. audusd is the top anchor (sell) and gbpjpy is bottom anchor (buy) at the time of this posting ...

Well 2/3 isn't bad I guess. That 3rd attempt lost me money somehow. Which is odd, because I had profit lock on it and no stop losses or anything... so to come home and have every trade except gbpchf closed was a little bit odd. I figured worst case, ...

Had 2/2 successful runs on demo so far. I never thought I'd be so bummed to see the 'perfect condition', because it means I have nothing to do but wait for something to change. I entered short anyway for a 3rd attempt, but even if it comes out ...

It was actually the last part of a hedge that I had taken against a sell I had open before...

I appreciate the sympathy guys I just never know when to let go of a trade. I always think, well if it's gone against me this far, it's bound to turn around. And those tend to be my famous last words. Sometimes I get lucky, and sometimes it ends ...

Just closed a trade for a 600 pip loss. real money ow.

Glad that was cleared up ! I look forward to using the IBFX scripts you make!
- ddblue replied Sep 28, 2008
The way you described it was that you could select IBFX mini, but it would still try to buy / sell cadjpy and the original 14, not the IBFX 14. So I edited the scripts to be truly compatible with IBFX mini accounts. Also, I DID change the name - I ...

Hey guys, you people move at the speed of light and I'm doing my best to keep up. If this information / contribution is outdated, forgive me. Anyway, ronzzer made a really great contribution a little ways back - a script that does the original ...

Hey! I just discovered this thread a few days ago, and I'm through to page 15 (I'd be further, but I had to read those pages over and over to fully grasp what was going on). Anyway, looks awesome and it's giving me hope for FX again! edit: Fixed, I ...
