So ridiculous what kind of effort Octa seems to make to cheat for an amount of a bit more than 1000 USD. Would a normal broker that is healthy and wealthy act like that? What could be the reason to risk your reputation for 1000 USD? Only reason I ...

OctaFX also denounced me to trade arbitrage and kicked me out. But I was not trading arbitrage. I was running an EA that was scalping and had a good run for a couple of month. My experience with them is that they let you trade only if you lose ...

This is related to a bridge between my FIX API trading algorithm (app 1) and the MT4 Terminal (app 2). To let both apps communicate with each other I was e.g. using sockets. So if the trade logic of app 1 decided to send an order to app 2 it did ...

Hello, I meant time from placing order to the broker's server. With MT4 the best I've achieved was: Ping less than 2 ms (brokers and VPS in London), MT4 system 30 ms, and system (processor, memory) 5-90 ms. In average I've had total of 50 ms. I hope ...

Thank you for the answer. This is a good news for me because I've decided as well to use Java because it is easier to learn and code. What is in your opinion a good enough execution? Is 10 milliseconds to slow? Thanks From what point of time do you ...

The experience I described was with my live account. edit: Checked you link. 70ms is not fast imo. When trading cross connected e.g. via PXM I have a latency about 200 microseconds (0.2 milliseconds).

FXPig offers different feeds for FIX what is really nice. I did not test all of them yet. But the one I tested I must say was pretty poor. The order execution was so slow that the following happened: I sent a sell order, the price was dropping, then ...

"How did I do it" is to common to answer more in particular than I described above. I can answer more detailed questions but I cannot write a tutorial how to do it here. I am able to help you regarding the technical skills needed for it. And I can ...

Hi Don, MT4 is not bad but has its limitations. I mainly code in Java and C++. If you like we can discuss your project via Skype. Greetings!

Why do you want to do it in cAlgo? For using cTrader to test trading / live trading or just to evaluate some data? I am asking to point out if it would be possible to use other apps too.

MT4 -> Ctrl+o to open the options. There go to Email tab where you can put in the email receiver creds. Then you can use a the SendMail(...) function within a simple MQL code to achieve your goal.
