You mean that even on fixed spread accounts, during these spike hours it will still move the spread up? Because I thought that fixed spread must be kept as is no matter the market conditions. I understand the other part of your reply about them ...

I'm using a specific EA approach that opens orders on specific times of the day but the spreads spike at these moments. Like on closing and opening of days, on news etc. I have tested it even on Zero Spread with commissions but still on these, ...

Yes, I'm familiar with the benefits of it. I had started some period to use it but was much accustomed to the mt4 and turned back to it for most of my EAs. I used MT5 for one that needed MTF and muti currency. I can't deny that it's better. It just ...

thank you for it. Is there by any chance that it can be modified for mt4? It is my fault for not saying it but I'm pretty much clueless on mt5 and can do much more things on mt4 for testing, optimization etc.

Thanks for the replies and the suggestions everyone. I think I found the one I had seen in the past. It was AxiTrader. But it was not from 0.0 pips and no commission. It was just from 0.0 pips and half of their usual commission. Instead of ...

that could make bit smaller profits but indeed would reduce the DD and will be safer not to bust the account. Or you could just go long when it's above the MA. No need to wait for pullbacks or them to finish.

I don't mean like "buy and hold it for the whole year" style. I mean like going on the M15 M30 chart, attach a 50-EMA and open buy orders when price goes below it. It's much faster than the "buy and hold like invest style" and produce more than the ...

I use Pip Value to calculate my correct Lot Size as I said above. But it may be not worth it indeed. I may want full precision just trying to be a perfectionist but MT4 Platform anyway rounds up to 2 decimal Lot Sizes so precision goes out of the ...

Yeap. you got it. This is the part that I'd like to hear other people's opinions on how they deal with it or if there is any "official" correct way. I'm not sure too, why they moved it to rookie but it doesn't matter to me as long as I still get in ...

why do you think so? Correlations so far in my early testings look pretty promising. Where you disagree on them or what is your experience with them? Something bad happened? Am I missing something?

that's exactly what I want too. I don't want to look for trades every single time and always trading. That's why I was asking for a way of noticing when price enters choppy period so as not to trade. I guess there can be noticed by OHLC and price ...

50 EMA isn't too big to catch a range? I thought I'd need something with smaller periods or more sensitive indicators? Maybe somehow through RSI or volume indicators like OBV?

Hello. I have downloaded the Ranger EA V2 and installed it correctly on my MT4 platform. I have also activated the Auto Trading from Tools> Options and from Auto Trading button. But when I open the Tester tab (ctrl+R) and pick the correct EA to ...

Hi. Thanks for replying. Well, about the 1:30 leverage issue I think (or at least I thought, I may be wrong) that because I'm located within EU, there was a limit set at 1:30 for supposed protection of accounts for EU citizens. If I can still open ...
