Not sure what you're interpreting from my comment but I was just pointing out that it's nice that we can make an error in trading (as Brian did in closing the full position instead of half) and laugh about it afterwards. I think it helps in all ...

You're trying to become aware while in a dream. The idea is that if you can realize you're in a dream then you can manipulate the dream. Some people just do it for fun while others use it to try to work through problems. I personally have never had ...

I didn't realize the 1m data would affect the 5m data if I was trading closed 5m bars. They provide real 1m data for 20/month. They also have tick data for 30/month but I can't really afford that for long.

This is definitely possible. I know that the 1m tick data is faked. I actually take trades off 5m charts and use the 1m to manage my trades once I'm in. I'm pretty sure the 5m data is genuine it's just the movement before the bar closes that is ...

Thanks to all who have given their thoughts, encouragement, admonishments, etc. I am genuinely grateful that there is a place in which I can get so many viewpoints on the topic of my future. I’ve noticed a few themes in the responses, many of which ...

I find keeping a trading journal to be a very useful exercise. I see you have a log of your account performance but consider consistently writing down your rationale for the decisions you made before and during the trade as well as how you felt. ...

Looks like its hitting a fib retrace level but you could have pulled a nice 20 pip swing out of that so far if you bought right at yesterday's low.

Thanks for that link Narafa. That's exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for. To me personally the RSI oversold/overbought scan seems extremely useful when used in conjunction with plotting support/resistance. Obviously a scanner is no ...

Hey Andelumut, I'm no expert but I'd like to ask a few questions if that's ok. You seem to trade using nothing but support/resistance and trendlines; I'm guessing that's what you mean by supply and demand trading. In this case you seem to have taken ...
