Kiwi $ H4 — Hi Pipsdaily, Great BUOB size, except that I would normally play this pattern at a Swing Low. This one is located a tad too far upstream to my liking. But that's just me. It could play out well if you're in it. Ijay

Akron Zip? Zilch, maybe image After all. Akron Zips is definitely not in the same league as say, OSU (which I used to watch with envy, back in those days, for all their sports achievements). Back to hunting pips

Ahhhh.....Akron. I stayed there for 5 years plus while I was a student at Akron U. Cost of living was quite low back then, but pretty much a dull place to live. Lucky Cleveland was just 35 minutes drive away on the I77 image

Hi Joel, I see AudJpy being somewhat in a no-man's land. Price is now at 7800 round number support. It also appears to be winding up. There's also a bit of traffic to the left. It could very well go down hard, but I'm kinda leery about it.

Trailing Stops — Would like to hear views on how some of you go about setting trailing stops. Some possible scenarios: For instance, do you set the trailing stop pip size equal to the length of the PA? What are the common issues with using ...

Stocks — Hi CW, When you trade stocks, what is the buffer value that you normally use when entering new positions? I know that you normally add 10 pips to the PA value that triggers on FOREX pairs (higher for exotic pairs) - what do you use ...

Heck, sometimes there are slow weeks as well where there are hardly any good-looking setups! To me personally, these are the most dangerous times because there is a tendency for me to "force trade" i.e. taking crappy trades. I am addressing this ...

Hey John, Well, it is consolidating, so there is nothing that would tempt me to take this trade. Probably something like a large BUOB/BEOB appearing after the consolidation might get me interested in this pair again. Glad that you find the J16 stuff ...

Hi Johnny, About the only concern I have with this setup is the size of the pinbar. It may not be enough to reverse the massive drop before - kind of trying to catch a falling knife. I personally would not consider this trade.......but of course, I ...

EUR.AUD Daily — Hi Mattfx, I took this trade as well. Have already got out at the 1st area of potential trouble for a small profit. This is not a sell & hold type of trade (to me, at least).

Hey Jig, Thanks for sharing the Master Candle stuff with us! Eventhough it's not J16 stuff, it does not mean that we cannot learn something from it. We can always slice & dice and incorporate it into our trading framework. For example, if this ...

Not too many PA's seen at the longer term PPZ's - that's the reason why it's so quiet now. Typical Monday blues...now I gotta crawl back to my cave and wait some more...

Chris, In your stock trades, do you give weight to confluence with moving averages? MA's seem to be quite popular with the Wall St folks (especially 50 & 200 day MA).....what's your opinion on this? Would MA complement S&R in stocks? Thanks, Ijay

Got it! BTW, love your thread! When you plot out the support & resistance lines in stocks, do you find them respecting "round numbers" (i.e. 5.00, 18.00....) like we see in FOREX?

Hi Josh, The Brocotrader that I have only shows 5 stocks - how do you get it to show 100 stocks? Must be something that I've missed during the installation setup I guess...
