mtf osma, macd — hi bbolss, first of all thanks for the system. I have been trading it for about a week with some success. Have developed a couple of indies for this particular system - OSMA for 2 tf and MACD for 2 tf. May be it's what you are ...

POBEDA - 20 pips Renko — I suspect it's because POBEDA method is based on 20 pips Renko blocks and you're probably using 10 pips Renko charts - like in the "original" setup. And one may assign any TF to the offline Renko chart - "M2", "M7", ...

wicks — You're right. But that high has been reached while previous blue box was still in place - that's what I meant.

offline chart name — It really doesn't matter. M2, M10, M33 or what else... All the difference is the file name and that's all. I'm comfortable with M10 for 10-tick boxes, may create M2 with 2 pips range. Just a habit

wicks on the 'wrong' bricks — Regardless of what kind of data is being used for calculation, all wicks are shifted to the right, thus belong to a 'wrong' bricks. May be this issue is related to limitations of MT4... may be not... And may be ...

Indicator updated — Here is the latest update of the indy posted earlier. Some bugs were found and have been fixed. Please replace the old file with the new one. You know what they say... the last bug found in the software is 'next to last'.

anchored price and wicks — When dropping script to a chart set 'Anchor price' to 1.0, it should be OK. P.S. and get wicks enabled... I noticed w/o wicks indy didn't work properly. Below is 'normal' Renko set to 3 pips, wicks enabled, anchor ...

box size — Not sure that something can be 'better' absolutely I set it to 10 and it's OK for me. Everyone is free to experiment and to find his own 'best settings'. Good luck!

Indicator & 'normal' Renko — Hi, I compared blocks formed by the indy on 1-min, 5-min charts and the 'normal' Renko for the same period of time and didn't find any difference. I think one more useful thing is that you can easily check how ...

Would be glad to give some quicker reply but as a 'junior member' I can't because of this: 'Your submission is not yet visible; it must first pass through the moderation queue. Submissions from Junior Members are hand-moderated as a quality control ...

Missing boxes — It's happening during sharp moves when a single bar's range is greater (or equal) than BoxSize*2. In that case only the last (strongest) brick appears on the chart. Don't know how to overcome this issue and paint several boxes ...

Renko indy on 1 min chart — Hi Johny pip, You may want to try this. I'm not a professional coder, still managed to produce such a thing somehow... It's an indicator, not a script. image

Renko wicks — It seems that without wicks it looks quite differently. I think in case of plain bricks true highs and lows (which are wicks) aren't saved in the file. Take a look at the picture - it's plain bricks for the same period of time. ...

Hi-Lo vs. HMA — As far as I can see, almost all trend-following indies provide similar functions Initial question was about filtering out 'one brick reversals' which was not achievable with the tools presented. So I'm suggesting a possible ...

Hi-Lo indicator — It serves as S/R levels indicator. While price is under the red section of the indy I only look for selling, while price is over the green section I look for buying. In most cases 'one brick reversals' are filtered this way. ...

Single Bar Trades — A possible way is using 'hi-lo activator' set to '3, 0' and wicks enabled on Renkos. image
