Baby steps — I made 8 pips on the Aussie today. Better than a kick in the teeth. Was up 30, so moved my stop above break even, so was stopped out when it dropped without loosing anything. I am up 6 pips on the EUR/USD at the moment.

volatile — It's going down as people react. Hard to tell which direction it is going to settle on!

Which direction will she go? — Hmm, things are slowing down a little, volume wise I mean. Seems to be going horizontal at the moment. I wonder which direction it will choose?

I was just stopped out for -50 pips. Went long from from 125.886. Bugger. I thought GBP/JPY was on its way northward again. I haven't made any pips for a while. The AUD/JPY long I have at the moment is my last hope. I am thinking of making my system ...

How is it possible? — What I want to know is how is it possible for it to keep dropping like that? In order for people to keep selling, someone has to keep buying, but who in their right minds would go long when the pair is dropping like a ...

I'm not going to try to pick up Jack in front of that particular bulldozer!! That's scary man! It certainly lives up to its nick name of Cable (ie the trans-Atlantic cable at the very bottom of the ocean), looks like the value of the pair is ...

Impossible — Go the 23.6% retrace! How is there anyone with anything left to sell. Surely everyone's stops have been slaughtered by now!

Stopped! — Noo, I got stopped out at 0.66703. Oh well only lost 6 pips. Could be worse. What on earth is the Aussie doing though, it is up and down like a cheap hookers skirt ('scuse the bawdy expression! ), probably as a result of falling ...

Viva la resistance — I hope that resistance at 0.66709 holds. I am long from there. Would like to break minor resistance at 0.66820. If it can do that should be good to the next major line of resistance at 0.66952 (yes it is a very shallow up ...

Recalcetrant Dollars — Can I just complain once again how everyone else's bad news seems to make the Aussie fall. Our own bad news also makes the Aussie fall. There is seriously not much that makes it go up, I swear!!

Falling Aussie — Wow, that risk aversion is a bummer. Supposedly AUD is falling due to increased risk aversion for commodity driven currencies due to posted 8 billion pound loss (article) for the Bank of Scotland. Small retracement going on at ...

The obama effect — Good morning to any still up for the Australian/Asian sessions. Does anyone have any thoughts how Obama's inauguration will affect the USD and AUD? I read how people will probably be joyful which will reduce their risk ...

So IG Markets don't do volumes you reckon. They are great to trade with. Good spread, very fast execution, good up-time.

I use IG Markets to trade with but can't see how to include volumes in the charts of currencies. Is this something all charting should be able to do? Does anyone know if IG markets can do it? Other wise I will ring them and ask them tomorrow.

Just got 57 pips from the gap fill. GBP/JPY then seemed to head back up again about 30 pips but seems to be heading back down. Question, do you have retraces on Gap fills, in which case is this just a retrace, or has the Gap been filled as much as ...

Hi 95Ford. I am new to this too, only been here a couple of months. The Eur/USD, cable update (GBPUSD), the Auslanco - GBP/JPY and GBP/USD (newstrade) and james16 Chart Thread are the best ones (as you can see from the number of views). Even if you ...
