I was NOT suggesting adding the alligator to the system. I was simply using it to demonstrate that OTHER indicators that perform a similar function ALSO give the appropriate signal at the appropriate time to the indicator Squalo has created for this ...

Unfortunantly, as with most systems, you have to place some kind of arbitrary number to some variable. I find this system works well enough on EURUSD m15 with the 30 pip CZ. Without some c Ultimately this system/indi looks to be a new take on the ...

I can understand ForexHard's position; All too often on these and other forums someone will post a solid working simple system and not even a day later other people are suggesting changes or adding new indictors to "filter" trades. I "try" to avoid ...

As far as I can tell, Squalo made it so you can input those numbers manually. You can set whatever levels you want, unless I'm misunderstanding the settings.

This looks kinda like the "Avenger FIBO" that someone here recently, same principle, just keep martingaling until you win. Honestly I think someone needs to post a link to Renko charts every single time someone posts a martingale system, as IMO they ...

OK, I little more fiddling and it seems this EA is actually using SessionEndTime as the time you want it to stop taking new trades. So for instance if you only want to trade during the london session you would: StartTime = Asian session start ...

Well, the default settings are off by several hours for my brokers asia session, and since I'm based on the east coast the default close hour (if I recall correctly and its going by local time) is somewhere in near the middle of the asia trading ...

Then please clarify because based on the rules you posted in the first post, I'm pretty sure what I wrote up is the simplest form of it. Just to clarify: AO isn't used AC isn't used Fractals aren't used You use ONLY the "Blue" line from the ...

Yeah, I've never been able to get a decent modeling quality with MT4 and mostly use its back tests for the same thing you do, to check of the trading logic is sound. Still I'll have to forward test the EA on a demo account for a while, as if what ...

I didn't see anything in his system rules that would imply a trend having anything to do with the trade setups. Which is why I left them out of the recap / simplification I posted earlier. Defining a "trend" has and will always be a pain in the ass, ...

Current example trading this method. — Here is what a pending setup using this system looks like: image As you can see when the previous bar touched the Blue line, I placed a Buy Stop the the previous HIGH with a SL of the Previous LOW -5 ...

Finally, on another note, the balance line you use (Blue Line) from the alligator is nothing more the a 13 Median MA Smoothed with an 8 shift. For the sake of keeping things as simple as possible for the explanation of the system. file What your ...
