Gold has been a mixed picture last few weeks (really last few months) but IMO this past weekly close is now aligned with bullish daily phase. Even still I'm not believer just yet until there is follow through next week.

IMO weekly is still pointing down but daily came close on Friday to turning up. Maybe Monday it will move higher enough for me to believe daily trend has changed to up, maybe? Now if it instead turns back down then following chart with EW count/ Fib ...

ES is what I trade and had a short trying for settlement @ 4811.25. Didn't make it. Thought about bailing but was too stubborn. Lost a little. Oh well next time.

Right "out of the gate" tonight 6pm EDT Dow (YM) was weakest vs ES, NQ and RTY. Still is currently. YM -0.38% ES 0.00% NQ 0.02% RTY 0.15% Unless things reverse YM is better as a short ATM.

New trading year for Gold appears to be in correction mode of prior mid-end Dec swing up May not be much downside. Ends of year are not typically points of trend change, though no reason why it can't. TWT
