Well, Razor, common courtesy also seems not to be very much in use here either! Sorry that I was wrong to expect a reply!? What an arrogant attitude you have! And you are wrong when you say that indicators are not used for DIBS trading. ...

OK so I am talking to myself again. Thanks guys! Never mind, I got tired of waiting so I coded my own - actually patched it from existing code.

Hi folks, anyone know where I can find an indicator for inside bars like the image below? Thanks.

Click the paperclip at the top right of the forum screen and you will find some of the indicators that are useful in trading DIBS.

Not sure how you good folk are all enjoying MT4's move to 5 decimal places on prices. I know I am not as I find it much harder to comprehend the actual meaning of the price - there are just too many damn digits! That aside, the extra digit messed up ...

Yup, sorry, typing with a broken finger! Sure did mean CME. Original post edited. Thanks for pointing the typo out. But this is NOT a mini on the forex - it is a micro on fx futures - e-micro forex futures - brand new as of yesterday. Futures ...

Getting ripped off? — Hi folks, Been a long time since I logged onto this forum so forgive me if this has been covered before. The CME group have a great web site where you can get real time fx quotes straight off the futures exchange floors ...

FXTimes — Seems we are all rather unobservant! Myself included. My FXTimes program has been in the public domain for over 2 years now. Yesterday I suddenly noticed an anomaly in the date display. I have made the necessary correction and the ...

Maybe not johto?. There is very low liquidity before London opens and the currencies often turn at the London open so an hour early may cost you dearly in the long run. The whole point Peter tried to make was to follow the money and trade when the ...

[/I] Thanks NowAndLater for the lesson on GMT. The point I raised has nothing to do with the mechanics of GMT which we all know is cast in stone. Our mentor Peter Crowns strongly advised us to "trade the strong hand". The "strong hands" are now ...

I must admit to being a bit disappointed that no-one joined the discussion on the 0600 GMT open now that winter time is in force. Peter made it quite clear that you should trade when the big money trades. That to me seems to indicate moving the ...

Thanks Delfino. I right click on the chart, select Template and then my DIBS template - but I have to do that for each individual chart. Do you also have to do that for each chart or does your method update them all in one go?

Hi Folks, I've been mainly lurking lately and trading a little as well - too darn busy with other stuff right now to go at it full time. That will come. Just 2 issues that are bothering me right now so I thought I would seek some advice on this ...

It's not rocket science pal - you just have to read the thread like everyone else. This is not a kindergarten!

Again to quote Peter: "Ask yourself, when does the market open? I use 00:00 CST or 06:00 GMT as my open. Believe me, if you are off 1 hour due to Daylight Savings time it is not going to be a problem. No, I don't take trades before the session ...

Peter also said: "The first 6 - 9 hours of the trading day are the most powerful, as the "money" trades then. Some people prefer to trade the weaker part of the 24 hour session, after 1600 - 1700 Central Standard Time. And, there are those who like ...

Ahhhh, now that you have put some information on the chart it makes sense, but you are still not following the DIBS rules, but good luck to you anyway

Dear my30marahaba, as I said, it did not show up on my charting service as an inside bar, but even if it did two points come immediately to mind: 1) It is not yet 0600 GMT 2) We do NOT trade DIBS off the 15 minute chart But if this works for you ...
- tigertrader replied Oct 1, 2008
Hi my30marahaba, I am not sure what method you are using, but it is apparent from your screenshot that you went short the Swissy around 1.1273 on the 15 min chart. That was before it broke the downside of your inside bar (which, by the way did not ...

A slightly dubious IB breakout on the EURUSD with a possible target at the Central Pivot around 1.4186. Price seems very sluggish and jerky so it seems the big guns are themselves undecided about todays direction. Let's see how this one plays out. ...
