Thank you! Will check that out. Indeed I'm confused with the manual since some posts here say different things..

Okay, good to know! I'll focus on the touch trades and try to master them then.

I don't get it then.. I saw similar setups in the guide PDF. There are some contradicting opinions on it. On a lot of posts here it's said that constainment trades are the easiest one to trade and that 1st touches would be harder. You mentioned then ...

GBP/USD M15: Is this a constrainment of SMA35/EMA50? Price touched it 3 times and I went short. Got stopped out then though. (

Haha, I see. I just thought this whole trading strategy is based on that guide lol.

Hmm, doesn't the guide say for touch trades to use max sl of 12 pips? And if I really used an SL of 20 pips, wouldn't the trade strategy fail in the long term? SL 20 pips, TP 10-15 pips are a bad risk reward ratio no? Thanks.

Took this first touch of the SMA35/EMA50 today (Short GBP/USD). SL 7 pips, TP 14 pips.

Nice! Had an eye on this one as well. When do you decide to exit the trade though? I have noticed that a lot of people posting here of touch trades are scalping. So in and out very quickly.

I see! Well, I'm on demo anyways. Trying to understand the system. So your feedback here will always help. Danke! Edit: I posted this like 2years+ ago url Isn't this the same situation (just long)? Where are the differences that my recent entry is ...

Thanks for the feedback guys. Good to know that for the EMA10 constrainments, the sma35 and ema50 have to be tight and steep too. I thought constrainment = price hovering around a moving average. I read the original PDF manual for the AAA touch ...

Short here in GBP/USD. Constraintment against EMA10 Edit: Stopped out. Was the setup correct? Manual says that constraintments against ema10 are usually weaker than the ones against the sma35 and ema50.

Question: Do you guys only focus on one pair as described in the guide? Or do you just check whether any pair is building a nice entry setup and execute? Thanks!

Constrainment on M5 and M15 for a short entry on UJ? Those pin bars on H1 are worrying though! image Edit: Oh well, missed the entry.

Posting my EURGBP Short from this morning that I also posted here: image Constrainment on the H1 and EMA10 rejection on M15. Also EMA10 touch on the daily chart. This trade was a really close one because I almost got stopped out. 1 pip more and I ...

Just found this thread. Pretty cool that there's an interactive trading thread on the Dance. Possible Short Entry on EUR/GBP? H1 looks like a constrainment with SMA25 and EMA50 (Needs few more bars). On the daily constrainment with EMA10 as well as ...

Thanks for the tip! Yeah I see what you mean. At first I used M15, H1 and D1. Then I read that some people use lower time frames to fine tune their entries. Indeed sometimes there are contradicting trends. I usually go with the higher time frame ...

Had a long trade today on the USDJPY pair. Noticed a constrainment on the H1 Chart with the EMA10 line. Also looked like a nice uptrend. SL was below the last M15 low with tolerance. TP at the next resistance. TP was hit 2 hours later. Trade Entry: ...
- Phlong37 replied Apr 4, 2018
Nice one! May I know why you entered the trade? I guess it was constraintment? Because according to the guide AAA touch entries should only happen when the retracement takes max 2 bars to touch it.

What's up girls and boys. Enjoyed your eastern holiday? Posting my failed trade from EU today this morning. image Why I entered: Steep EMA10 and no more than 2 bars to touch it. A few minutes after my entry I got stopped out. EU went down a lot ...

Yep, thanks for the clarification. By the way, do you trade strict at the overlap time of London and New York Open time or do you trade at other times as well? Right now the London Exchange is closed but I think here's a really nice short ...
