thanks espirit. My main concern is while the ny closes at 5pm, should we disregard how many times the market has hit the levels during the hours we don't trade? So I only trade ny (8am est to 5pm) if Asia bounces off these levels, come 8 am est the ...

as far as calculations go, we are only (for forex) calculating the high low and close of one session correct? So I'm trading the ny. So from 8am to 5pm est of previous day I use those numbers... And disregard what happens during Asian and European?
