You must not be aware that there is no set time that a broker HAS to have their daily candle start. Forex.com is 8PM EST. FXCM is 5PM EST. A lot of European brokers are 12AM EST. Why does this matter? With a different daily closing for different ...

DISCLAIMER: THESE ARE NOT BK8 RECOMMENDED TRADES BUT WERE TAKEN USING THE BK8 SYSTEM AT MY OWN DISCRETION AND WITH COMPLETE AWARENESS OF RISK. My trades from yesterday. Total +241 Pips.

Hey Bk8. The system is much appreciated and with proper mm and general knowledge is highly profitable. Im going to have to check out of this thread tbough. For a lack of a better term it has become a complete clusterfuck of whining and bickering. ...

Hope you are still in GC Bk8. Good chance at 300+ pips on this. I checked lower TF, and 4 hour closed above 200 SMA at our buy signal, last time it did that was end of August and it moved 360 pips in a few days.

Well, ran into an unexpected hiccup today. Apparently, I need a new broker. Even doing 5% risk on the SL and only being in EJ and AUDCHF, I didn't catch that the margin requirement was crazy high on a 50:1 leveraged account and was margined on my EJ ...

Hey Flux, You have your video set to private.

Let it ride. Each day at close is the same thing. When you are in profit, close position 1 if tp1 not hit. Essentially this will keep you from getting stuck in a sideways pair for a week or longer so you can take other trades when they come up.

The news was the catalyst. The UC reversed 80 Pips in under 5 minutes after the release of the retail and CPI number. Oil dropping probably just kept it down.
- BuffaloPat replied Sep 23, 2016
Unfortunately, we Americans tend to overreact to news. No real good reason that UC should flip (from a fundamentals standpoint) off of a missed CPI and Retail sales number. The more level-headed asians will come in next week and be like, "Crazy ...

No worries BK, it is all part of the learning. I am still in all the ones you recommended. Some have unfortunately pulled back so not in profit but they arent closed. I think today is a good example for new traders that Fridays in particular are ...

And that folks is why intraday trading is pointless. +50 Pips to -30 pips in less than 10 minutes on CAD news. Sticking to the rules. Still in it.
- BuffaloPat replied Sep 23, 2016
Thanks for the heads up flux, might as well jump on the money train for a cheaper price since I was stopped out of EG.

Hey Monaghan, My charts are on post 3939. Lesson from this: don't trust chart patterns if the candles are even borderline sideways. Not really concerned, as I'm still learning (like most here). I'm sitting in profit of double my loss on my open UC ...

Fingers crossed on some good numbers for the red CAD news in 50 minutes. I want to see high blue numbers on my phone!
- BuffaloPat replied Sep 23, 2016
Gross. Stopped out on E/G this morning. Oh well, UC and NC are still in good profit.
- BuffaloPat replied Sep 22, 2016
Thanks for the clarification BK8. Was just making sure I didn't miss some kind of change.
